after LITERALLY clicking on both kids and wine links over 1000 times, I saw the buying screen pop up on the wine one. However, after click on the order button it disappeared and sent me back to wine.woot main page, I was like We, the Hitchhikers?

So I figured, maybe opening 100 tabs at once is not a good idea, since the next tab maybe be signaling a refresh or whatever. So I closed all tabs and started reloading the wine link once at a time, it took about 25 tries and it worked!

So i got in and entered my info but when I clicked submit or "my info is correct" or whatever that button says it just exited. Is that normal, doesn't it usually go to another screen?

Some serious criticism here:

The game is garbage. There is nothing fun about a game that randomly kills the player with no chance to avoid it, then starts the player over.

The only reason to put up with this awful game design is to attempt to get the privilege of purchasing the Big o' Cosmos.

You will note that the high scores are obviously all fake, and the forums are full of people trying to find ways to cheat.

In other words, your game is so bad, the only way to win is to cheat.

I would also talk to your lawyers about the legality of this. You're essentially setting up a kind of sweepstakes here, and there's a good chance you're breaking some laws.

A nice effort, but a terrible implementation.

I tried the Incognito window with Chrome.

Opened one link, then logged in, opened a 2nd and it went straight to the order page...

Happened to me once. Keep trying I eventually finished my order.

Just got my Woot confirmation and Paypal confirmation. It's for real. Although now I guess it's sold out.

I played the game to lvl for and it said I could buy soem crap... only to have the sale end I guess and the were already selling green bucky balls... I feel so robbed!

Got to the order page after brute force copy/pasting about 100 times and had my order declined because I had old credit card info stored.

My life is over.

Woot's word filters suck. It took me 5 pages to realize people were talking about the Big Orphaned Cetacea, and not some sort of orphan or bag of celestial stuff.

Well this is Jatravartid and frustrating and I just can't take it anymore!

I thought it was one big joke to. Couldn't get it to work... What finally did was running the game in chrome in one tab, and then while it was running (which by the way it will just keep running when it isn't open and you don't crash into anything, or at least I didn't) I was able to open up the link in another Tab and it worked. I got the Kids.woot background, but got to order 3 craps. You'll know if it works really quickly, even before the page loads, because the link will change in your URL bar to read something along the lines of member/order/confirm or some such... I haven't had a successful Big Orphaned Cetacea since Big Orphaned Cetacea IV back in the second year of the site. This was fun.

I also thought that all the posters were in on the joke and playing the rest of us, but after seriously about 300 copy-and-pastes and link clicks, I finally got one! First one ever! Unless this is also just a big April Fool's joke and Woot cancels all the orders...

....It said I won, then I clicked.... and suddenly there were Buckeyballs...

I have never been sadder about something on the internet...

So I got one of the last Bags of crap since they are no sold out but why do I have th strongest feeling I just donated $8 to Woot in the form of an april fools gag.

Woot, if you paid someone to make this game for you I suggest you get your money back. The programmer must be half tard, because two sprites come level with you randomly.

Now sold out. which crap page to follow for updating our crap arrival ? this one or the one you won on???

Finally got to the oprder screen and it sold out!!!!!!!

Wooo after a ton of copy pasting i finally got it!!! the link works just have to be patient, It took me about an hour and over at least 400 tries!

Besides, it's just an April Fools gag anyway.
Those links and that game all smell bogus to me.
Woot is just trying to get their Woot kids site higher in the Google ranking. A bunch of wooters hitting that link 50 time should move them up pretty quick.

I got the same thing. Twice. I finally got to the You Want One and clicked that everything was right, but then it just booted me back to the kids woot page. I don't think it worked...

on another note I just got my first bacon on crossant! Thanks woot for making dificult enough that they were still available when I woke up... Yes had to read forums for a while and had to work for it but I got one. Been working on it since level 7, got the buy link to work at level 9 but sold out before I could get the buy... and got the buy at the tail end of level 10! yippie! Now if my craps will be something usefull remains to be seen.

I haven't been able to get a Big o' Cosmos either way, but I'm not pissing my pants about it.

I got to level 4 when it said level 4 and got a server error when I tried to buy, then I got to level 8 when it was on level 8 and again got a server error. This is the biggest scam.

That happened to me back on Level 8. The purchase never appeared in my account, so I'm pretty sure the sale didn't go through. I eventually managed to make the cut-and-pasted URL work on Level 10.

(Or at least I think I eventually got it to work. Arrgh.)

That whole ordeal was so sad. The game would actually be fun if it wasn't for the inevitable dying, even though it wasn't really related to getting the Big Orphaned Cetacea. Could it be made available without the guaranteed death just for fun?
