Most fair it's ever been.
Okay, so yes, some people cheated, and yes, some people scored TWO, and yes, there were some people whose screens just took them straight to the buy option without the game. Yes.
And worse, for some people nothing worked, and they won but still couldn't get what they deserved. I hear you. That sucks.
But I've tried for years to get a bag o crap and gave up long ago. Having a game to slow US down kinda equalized the playing field enough so that real people could have a chance, instead of bots. A lot of people cheated, but most of us had a chance to get in on it this time. And yes, ADA folks, I'm one of you. Hard though it was, this was more fair than the normal way they've done it, imho.
I've waited DAYS during wootoffs for the bag o crap, only to be crashed when trying to place the order, and then beaten by the bots that got in. THAT sucks. And lookit: I played for OVER TWO HOURS. Level 6. Hard to do. And that was the earliest I could get in; the servers were so crashed at midnight that I didn't even know there WAS an offer. But stretching it out made it possible for most of us. And unlike the stock based one, in which I was one of the 90% who DIDN'T win, this time I have a guarantee. I won a bag o crap.
I am way more than $8 thrilled. It was a game. It was a sucky, hard game, with impossibilities at times, but it was a game that made it more fair than it ever has been before for a lot of us.
