I can personally attest that this thing rocks. Makes quick work of whatever you need to blend. Just be careful not to go too far when using it as a food processor. Short, quick presses. Cleans easily and all pieces are dishwasher safe if you are that lazy. Beware the sharp blades!

I see the word 'Ninja' and immediately think of those cheap samurai swords on display under the glass counters at convenience stores. So I'm wondering, can I expect the same performance in the kitchen from this thing as I could from a twenty-dollar katana out on the battlefield?

I think I'll stay back a safe distance in wait for the Woot! forum-rats to shred your post like piranhas; like, if rats were piranhas of the land, or something.

I'm loving the fact that I'm on the other side of the Pacific Ocean, checking new Woots at 7:00 HST. I hope for once I bought something, Ninja Blender, that sells out.

I got the twenty dollar version a few weeks ago came missing one of the blades called their customer service and they sent blade in three days... good customer service like that makes them a definite buy! The best thing about this for me is that the set up is so safe for a toddler the blades are in the bowl and don't spin until you put the motor on top. Blades are sharp so adult supervision and assistance is definitely required but still very safe compared to other gadgets and it Works perfect!

Need a new hand mixer. I'm in for one. The rest is all gravy. Hmmm could make that too, no lumps!

Were you using acorns instead of garbanzos?
