Hey mine doesn't work Woot! It says "SYSTEM ERROR (FOCUS)" when I turn it on and the lens won't retract when it powers down! HEEEEELLLLPPPP!!!!

yesterday was my first day really using this camera. after about 8 shots, i switched it "view" the pics and it locked up. i removed the battery and reinstalled it to turn it off. when i turned it back on, the lens extended with the sound of grinding gears! pulled the battery again put it back in and it wouldn't turn on at all! turned it back on this morning and although it started, the lens once again began with the grinding sounds... i'm thoroughly disappointed.

also, it seems as though the battery cannot hold a charge for very long. think i got a major lemon.

Don't worry. Email woot service. I too was missing the battery but woot made good I received it today! (in 5 days).

Still not heard from Woot Service about Camera case. Does anyone else have similar issue getting case?

well, sent in my camera on may 9th to panasonic. their online reporting system says they've received it and are in the process of exchanging it. hopefully for something better (i.e. works). so far, pretty happy with their process.

I've had this for about 3 weeks now - what a great camera! The zoom is crisp and with the burst mode has allowed me to take photos like never before (hummingbirds in my backyard). Colors are vibrant. I can leave it on Intelligent Auto or I can set it to shutter or speed priority. It's small and light enough to carry in my purse - I can't wait to use it for sports and vacation photography.

I am still waiting for mine too. It has been almost a month now. Needless to say I am not very happy with the shipping on this order, although I am sure the product is still good as ever. Hopefully they can deliver it soon. There have not even been any tracking updates since the 9th.

Since yours is going to a military address, it can take up to 8 weeks to get to you. You can try speaking with your post office to see if they can give you a better idea of where it is since SmartPost tracking seems to stall on the east coast while it's making it's way to you.
