I had decided to sleep through it and catch on the many repeats. However, a small guest pug had other ideas. Gonna be a LONG day.

Morning.

Hectic work day.

Don't care about the wedding.

Don't care about weddings in general, so the marriage of 2 people I'll never meet--no matter how historic or epic...doesn't rank either.

Sorry.

(and it's not EVERY little girls dream...I never ever wanted to be a princess.)

Good morning. Busy morning so far. Took the twins across the street to school, went to FedEx, the post office, produce store, and picked up breakfast at Bob Evans.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

It was nice.
Nice dress.
The funny part is her tiara, which is real and passed down through the royal family, was small. (edit it was from 1936, so not as old as I thought) Little kids at the Disney store would not pick it.
The vail was a little too plain.
It was refreshing compared to most new gowns. Her arms needed to be covered for the cathedral. Maybe this will kill the topless gowns that have been around for so long.
(topless as in ends at the boob. No shoulders or arms at all)

There was only the maid of honor and best man and 6 little kids.
They were cute.

The only person I knew in the cathedral was Elton John. Other than the Queen and Prince Charles and his wife.

Somehow when I see Charles, I still wonder if he had Diana killed.
You know, even if it was an accident, he wasn't too upset by it.

I wonder if the Queen will just pass the crown to the grandson?

Honestly, this is the most I thought about the Royal Family.

Because you put him in the laundry room! He wants to be where the action is.
Unless, like lots of small dogs, he piddles. Then he is out of luck.

Camilla, not so much, but I agree with you about everyone else. I thought the simplicity of Kate's dress, veil, and tiara was stunning.

Anyhow, back from the gym and ready to do a stack of laundry.

I thought the vail needed something. On top. Too flat to the head. But I love the tiara and earrings.

But, if that ring wouldn't go on with her that thin.....well I hope it is easy to size.

Morning, Wootlings!

Feeling fabulous after a good night's sleep after dinner with friends! Also, fresh holes in the ears, which I've been meaning to get for years.

LMR's opinions are like margaritas: intoxicating, and best taken with a bit of salt.

I wasn't thrilled with the dress. I really liked her sister's dress better. I was expecting something a little more sleek.

I need to bring Rusty out. He is trying to protect me from the sounds of spring.

I should sweep the walk and yard. The maple trees have tiny green flowers that fall this time of year and the sidewalk is green.

Then, later in spring, there is the dropping of the unwanted pollynoses.

Plus I have a tree with pink flowers that dumped its petals.

Isn't this what the lawn service is for???? How come the year I get it, they don't come on Friday anymore???? They always did this block on friday. Not this year.

Last week down in Lancaster, I drove through a 'snowstorm' of white petals coming off a row of blooming trees. It was awesome.

There are actually matching studs that go with the hearts, but I can't swap out the top pair quite yet. You know, what with that whole being less than 24 hours old thing.

Well it sounds like an "affair" on the balcony was certainly public "personal business" and as for what the bridesmaid does for a living....well I think that may be quite obvious..not that I'm judging, I mean everyone has to make a dollar somehow (or in her case I suppose it would be pound sterling or euros).

Sounds like I'm missing some drama here. Is the bridesmaid engaged in one of the oldest recognized female professions?

And the Queen allowed her to participate?
