Nice to see you around Fen! Congrats on being the live-in manager for your parents, that's a sweet deal! My dad is still kicking himself for not doing that when I was in college. He figures even if we didn't live in the house he would have made enough for my rent (and my sister's) to be covered somewhere else. At the time he had the money to do it. Ah well, missed opportunities are simply that.

If it had been just $50, I would have. But it was $300 off the set, plus the free pedastal drawers, which can run $200 each.

They ended up coming. Washer is hooked up. Dryer is not completely hooked up - they were missing a hose or something to connect the water to it for the steam option. I have to call the store tomorrow. They left at 10:15. I'm just happy the machines are delivered.

I have to admit--other than the cable company, I've been very pleased with all the service/delivery companies I've worked with here. Fridge and washer/dryer were both exactly on time. AC repair guy was here yesterday, had the longest window of any of them, and he was here within 30 minutes of the window.

The cable people, otoh, arrived 2 hours AFTER the window given and never called me to let me know, and then blamed the delay on a sick kid. Grrr! I won't be paying for the installation.

I went to the office, thought it would help me concentrate on my job without the distractions of being home. Not really, my ADD is in overdrive and it is thoroughly bored of this project. Orc and I have picked a location and designed an entire business over the last hour and a half, down to title, slogan, and special group events.

How do normal people do this? I hit a rut and I can go no further. I just sit and watch clouds until I'm interested again (did it in school too, but I was so far ahead teachers just complained about me not paying attention).

Oh well. The bread turned out good!
