It should be ($249.99 + $5) > ($239 + $18).
$255.99 $257
You save a couple dollars and get it from a seller you trust.
Wanna try that math again? $254.99 ($249.99 + $5) < $257 ($239 + $18)
Though it is pretty close to a push -- But I'd add in the Square Trade Wnty too.

...
As a matter of fact I did compare them, at a Sony store last Saturday. There they were 2 basically identical Sony 32" TVs, one 720P and one 1080P side by side, same programming displayed. I asked the salesman why does the 720p one actually look better than the 1080i one? He didn't know but agreed the 720 actually was clearer in all aspects than the 1080p. Could the 1080p one be broken? I don't think so. The feed was 720P and the 1080i set artifically filled the lines with garbage and data yielding a lower quality picture (pixelation artifacts).

Not trying to be mean, just wondering...
I was wunderin' the same. I have reached the conclusion that many posters simply like the sound of their own voice (or the look of their own posts as it were...)

No -- we're in drought & under a burn ban . . . apparently the rain does fall on the just and the unjust, just not us . . . ;-)
I usually only buy on Wine.Woot, so not sure how long regular Woot shipping takes.
