Delivery date has been changed from Wednesday to Friday. Tracking shows that it took 72 hours for my package to get from New Berlin Wisconsin to Belleville Michigan.

And here I thought no one could beat the US Postal Service in unreliability.

I was really hoping my Big Orphaned Cetacea would have gotten here today because we are driving out of state early tomorrow morning and our mailman doesn't mosey by til about 3:30pm and I just don't think I can stall my husband long enough to keep it from sitting in the leasing office for two weeks unopened. i wonder if I can intercept it at the post office before it goes in the uspsmobile?

gvencelov wrote:got my crap today, a day early from original ETA ::edit:: forgot to add, it was marked at 5.9lbs and measured 24x12x12::/edit::

first things were the standard:
  • Flying Batman
  • Cooling Pad
  • Strawberry Bag
  • PetZoom Brushes

so I won't bother w/ individual pics of those. I'm kind of glad I stayed off the forums this go around. I <3 Batman and get all kinds of lil doo-dads and Batman things so I was very very excited when I saw this. I may have been less excited had I already anticipated getting it (though still excited ). Cooling Pad may be too small for my personal laptop, but may be good to toss into my work bag and the brushes will get good use on the kitties & the bag works in well with my county's new bag tax

In addition to that I also got

  • 2 Table Top Tripods (
    as seen in 4/1 BOCs
    )

and something wrapped in bubble wrap....

    when opened revealed to be....

  • Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP3

The camera appears to be in working order with all accessories/cables etc I just bought a (from what I read) "better" camera back in March, but it's nice to have an extra on hand for when I don't need the oomph of my Nikon

Definitely an "A" haul in my opinion!

The National Geographic videos had me a little jealous, but your box has me really trying to remember not to covet others crap. I've been researching cameras for a while now, almost bought that one. (Then almost bought the step up someone posted on another site but it was sold out before I could get to it).

5 lbs.

1 - Heatshift Laptop cooler
1 - Knight Flight Batman
1 - Pet Zoom brushes
1 - Strawberry bag

Love the batman, using the laptop pad now, and Zoom brushes will be perfect for our long-hair-brown-eyed-black-dragon.

Purse-friendly shopping bag is going to be a gift for one of my school bus-stop moms. (The crunchy one.)

Nothing craptastically fun or wootaliciously clever, but a very good woot overall.

Thanks, upside down backwards moofi!

6.4lbs containing the standards...

1 Knight Flight Batman
1 Strawberry Bag
1 set of PetZoom brushes (my cats are undecided)
1 Silver Heatshift Laptop Cooler (15 screen size)

& the semi-unique item, a Pandigital photo scanner.

I actually bought one of these once from Radio Shack after seeing it on woot, and ended up returning it because it took very poor scans. Hoping for a better experience this time.

Looks like we got the default + 1 item this time.

5.2 pounds, 24x12x12 box

No texas air (but everything survived)

strawberry tote (gift)
Knight Flight Batman (gift)
Laptop cooling mat (in use)
Pet Zoom brush set (I already had one from Woot so this is a gift)
Eco canteen (I may see if this will attach to my MOLLE-capable GHB).

Thanks Woot! I miss my Texas Air though... it really helps invigorate this place, trapped as we are in the corrupt, flabby, soulless, limp atmosphere of ill-annoy.

And next time both my wife and I will land more crap!

Look upon my Avatar, ye whiny, and despair!

Mine came a day early!

1x Knight Flight Batman
1x Heatshift Laptop Cooler
3x Pet Zoom brush
1x Strawberry Bag
1x Terraillon Pressio W Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor

The wrist blood pressure monitor is pretty nifty, the batman will make a good gift, pet brushes are great for my dog who sheds like mad, laptop cooler could be useful, and the strawberry bag has already been taken by a friend.

All in all a great Big o' Cosmos! Thanks Woot!

try this fix posted by Stumpy91 a couple pages back:

Stumpy91 wrote:

* BATMAN BATTERY PROBLEM SOLUTION *
Initially the controller wouldn't work and would not charge Batman. This was a common problem when the item sold on Woot previously. The problem is in the battery compartment of the controller. There are 2 molded plastic ridges on either side of the contact for the positive (+) side of each battery. The ridges are so high they don't allow the battery to make good contact. I shaved mine down with a small wood chisel. Something like an X-acto knife may work. Batman works fine and has not broken yet. ;^).

My carp list, exactly! Missed out on the bags of Texas air this time. Oh, and my laptop pad was white. The targeting screwdriver drew some laughs at home since DH had recently confessed to spending mucho bucks replacing various drill bits and ratchety thingies since he never puts them back where they belong. Won't take him long to lose these either, I suspect! Thanks, Woot!

My arrived on Saturday but I didn't open it till today. I got the following:

Pink laptop cooling pad
Set of 3 "PetZooms" brushes
Strawberry expandable shopping tote
Batman helicopter
and finally a "DreamCheeky" USB light

Everything is brand new and in good shape, well worth $8 even though I don't plan to keep any of it. I think my little cousins will get some enjoyment out of the Batman helicopter and maybe the pet brushes for their dog!

Mine left Berlin Wisconsin on Friday and is floating out there somewhere. Still waiting on it to land at the next sorting facility.

I am obviously not the Geek MauserMan was. I have tried 3 different times to add an image to my signature. I give up!

Well, hi there!

Tracking through USPS, it just does show "arrival at post office" so I think it will actually get delivered tomorrow....unless it's a slow mail day, and our carrier is running late to start? One can hope.

*edit* Now sorting is complete, and it's out for delivery! Could be here at 1pm or 5pm....never know how the route's gonna go. Looking forward to it, whenever!

Still saying that it's due here (in Oregon) today. However the last, and only update, was that it's in transit from Hutchins, TX last Friday. Expecting the due date to change. But right now, any update would be a good update.
