They don't put all that Bloatware on just to annoy you, companies pay to get it there. I am not thinking this is such a hot deal, everything is fine EXCEPT the 310M, that is SO weak, it's not alot better than the integrated GPU on die.At this point in time I'd be looking at 540M level as a minimum for decent gaming, take a look at Dell.

Not yet. Patience grasshopper. Might I suggest a SSD drive to go with it in the meantime. Just ordered a 128GB Crucial M4 to plug into this.

This is a SataII system but the SataIII SSDs are just as cheap in some cases

but you ordered it on saturday, and woot says it ships usually within 5 business days, which will take you until next saturday.

and shipping method was not mentioned, so we all hope that its not smartpost. :D

It seems like it is taking longer than normal... usually when I order from Woot!, I get an email within 2 or 3 days about it being shipped, most of the time the former. Then again, I think most of my orders are on weekdays.

Nonetheless I really really reallyreallyreallyreallyreallyreallyreallyreally want this to be shipped soon.

Really? All of my items have arrived in 5 days or less, including weekends. But I don't Woot very often or much, and the items I've bought weren't very big so that could be why.

I wouldn't worry too much. Like other posters have said, I've had a woot item arrive on my doorstep before getting the notification. Once I got the shipping notification and when I checked the tracking it said out for delivery. Woot is legit. I'm anxious to get mine like the rest of us but no worries. Well all get our laptops.

Did the same as the poster above and checked by reference number. Mine shipped from Anaheim CA on the 25th and is headed to far NorthEast US... Fed Ex est. June 2nd.


I dare say everyone should get thiers before June 2nd.

This is my first woot, so pardon my ignorance please. Since we have no way to determine exactly when the laptop will be sent, will we be provided with tracking information? Will the package have to be signed for? Or will they just randomly one day have a cool laptop at my doorstep ready for one of the neighborhood kids to get to it before me? I usually use eBay and they often offer free shipping and they provide tracking information. Any ideas or comments from the Woot veterans out there that can alleviate some of these concerns of mine and possibly others?

If I remember correctly (and its been a while since I've wooted) the items come packed in a non-descript woot box, so it doesn't scream "STEAL ME!". Unless every brown box package gets stolen from your doorstep I think you'll be fine. Also, I don't remember ever having signed before, and yes you will get tracking information. See Enervating's post a few posts up.

I received my tracking # today after Fedex had attempted to deliver the package. I say attempted because nobody was home to sign for it. This was the first time I had to sign for anything shipped from Woot. You will be fine and should receive your shipping info soon. You can also use enervating's suggestion to "extract" your tracking status.

Hmmm... todays sellout at Moofi is selling this exact computer... is that normal? is moofi the same as woot? im new to woot so this seems wierd to me, and i bought one so now it seems wierd and makes me nervous.

I got it right as I was leaving for work, so I didn't have a chance to even start it up, but I did unpack it and it looks fantastic. There's nothing in the box except the computer and a power cable, no disks or manuals.

I received an email stating that it had shipped AFTER I got to work (and already got the computer) so don't worry if you haven't received your shipment notice yet.
