I've been waiting thru a year's worth of woot-offs to find a marine water hose and wheel assembly with a water piston for auto-cranking. (an obscure item, i know!) But believe it or not, woot did actually sell this once, over a year ago, and I missed out on it before it sold out. *snap*
What really makes this is a heartbreaking story is that, it's not even for me, it's for my aging parents who are still taking care of a big empty-nest house with a big obnoxious lawn. (thanx broken/collapsed housing market!) —They can't sell it. Anyhow, I just wanted to get them something that would make their lives a tiny bit easier during the summer. But you know how parents are… They don't want me spending ANY money on them. So nothing makes a perfect mom and dad gift like something from woot. So I can go home to them and say, "Hey mom and dad! Look at this awesome self-cranking water hose I got you to make your lives a little bit easier, and you don't even have to scold me for it because I got it for next-to-nothing on woot!"
But it seems woot will never ever again have this back-saving, healthcare cost-reducing, good son love-inducing item for sale again, ever… *frown*
