Mine showed up yesterday too. I also received the toothbrush, sweatbands, and bag, but also got a strawberry topsyturver planter, and a wristcuff heart monitor (it must have been fairly old, the batteries were caked with corrosion).

My 3.4lb box is due Tuesday, although I'm hopeful for tomorrow. I'm just in Kansas, so it's fairly likely it'll come early. I'm really excited for the headband, that's easily worth the $8.

In other news, I work in a distribution center for a clothing company, and today I totally saw the machine that pumps air into the plastic baggies. I really hope I also get some Texas air, because I feel like I now somehow have insider knowledge on it works.

I'm sorry if I'm annoying anyone by continuing to come back to this, but it seems odd to me that folks (particularly the die-hard wooters) aren't more enthusiastic about these limited edition, individually numbered headbands. This is, as I see it, a really cool solution to the riddle of how to keep these bocs interesting and unique for the lucky 3000. I had started to lose interest in trying because, in my total of 4 bocs over three years, I had always gotten "standard crap" and I'm pretty certain I'll get the same this time, BUT this time I'm very likely to get something UNIQUE, a collectors item of sorts, and something that other wooters will be jealous about.
Just putting it out there. I think the headbands are just super cool. Anyone agree with me?

Did you get your Big o' Cosmos yet? If not there is still that chance you won't get a band as they said not everyone will. So there is still the chance of a sad face.

I agree 200% my favorite item of all my bocS is my brown paper bag with an orange question mark. It's the unique Woot specific things that make the bag.

My excitement has been slightly diminished, as my bag just lost a lot of weight on a new scan.

Mine went from 9.1 pounds on it's original scans, and now it's down to 6.4 today.

While I typically notice a slight change in the package weight along the journey, I've never had such a huge drop like this.

I agree; Very Cool, very creative, very special Big o' Cosmos.
I'm hoping for my very own Band and letter.

Of course the rest of my 7.9 lbs will be Crap but that's extra; I paid $8 for this stage of the event.

my says 3.5 lbs but i don't see any dimensions for the box anywhere.
It's due to arrive Wednesday the 28th in rainy floody Omaha, Ne.
My camera has gone walkabout so unless a digital camera comes in the box there will be no pictures.

They didn't say that not everyone will. They made 3000 - gave one to an insider, and put the other 2999 in the craps & they sold 2999 craps this time. Everyone will/should get one. No sad face.
