Okay, figured out why the pic wouldn't load, I named the file the three letter abbreviation for Big o' Cosmos and this site randomly changed the URL which invalidated the path. Seriously, how screwy is that??
Also there is no mention of this problem in the "formatting guide."

Okay my dog is officially jealous of my Carp. She keeps getting into my Woot box and taking out the headband or one of the wristbands in an attempt to chew them up.

My Big o' Cosmos. came in today and the contents were absolutely terrible!

Like everyone else, i received:

1X Tote Bag
1x Woot Headband
1x Woot Armband
1x Toothbrush Sanitizer

And that was it....oh well maybe next time..

I got the standard, plus the flying batman helicopter thing. Anyone wondering why their batman remote control wont turn on, you need to put some tinfoil in between some of the battery connections. Gave it away as a gift and took us like a half hour to figure out how to fix it and found the solution on an old woot forum.

Anxious to get mine but the tracking seems stuck, last date was 6/24/11 with no estimated delivery date showing.

One of the helicopters had been removed from the box and then put back in with the styrofoam packaging the wrong way. I had to remove it to be sure the actual helicopter was inside rather than just the controller. The controller already had batteries in it. Hmmmmmmmmm...... I wonder if the w00t staff was playing with this one? One of the control sticks (lift) doesn't spring back to a central position. Not sure if that's normal or the result of the odd repackaging. Only time will tell if it works properly or not. If it doesn't, I always have the second one and can use it for either helicopter.

I have the "used" helicopter charging at the moment. The other one appears to be a sealed package.

I've always wanted to buy one of these things but never took the plunge. Now I have TWO of them to play with.

UPDATE -- The "used" helicopter charged up fine but when I tried to fly it the thing started beating itself to death. I took the one from the unopened box and it's immediately apparent that a piece is broken on the first one. There's a black bar that goes across the top rotors and half of it is missing on the first helicopter. D'Oh! I may try to fake a piece and see if I can make it work. I have the second helicopter charging now and have high hopes for it.

The falcon gyro helicopter is an exact copy of the original Syma s107 helicopter. Spare parts are easy to get for these and are cheap. Take a look here.

Me too, add to that list a woot shirt Coffee Mug.. My first Big o' Cosmos... Looking around I have to say I have Big o' Cosmos envy. Not stopping me from trying again though!

That is awesome seeing as how I also received one with a busted tail rotor and a missing connector. However, the replacement parts together are only $5 and the shipping is almost $10. I think if I wanted to get a fully working one, I would probably just get one brand spanking new instead. On the other hand, mine ascends, descends, and spins, just no forward and backward (aside from a slight backward shift).

Got my Big o' Cosmos yesterday and had an opening along with a coworker.

Is there any real variance in the crap from site to site or would you likely end up with 4 generic bags of crap? I don't mind $8 for a Big Orphaned Cetacea but $32 for four of the same craps??? Somehow I don't think so. If it was like it used to be where each Big Orphaned Cetacea was individualized that would be different but with the new "standardized crap" deal I just can't see it.
