Oh yeah, because everyone else wants one.

After at least 10 wootoffs, I got my first Big Orphaned Cetacea. I wasn't even paying attention too closely, my work internet is an ISDN line, and I wasn't logged in when the Big o' Cosmos went live.

I think the woot servers don't crash, they assign arbitrary beeohcees to the folks on the order loading screen, otherwise it would likely be the same 250 folks every time with the fastest internets and the best reflexes/bots.
