Ah, this brings me back to the joys (*cough* dread and anguish) of high school chemistry. Loves playing with Buckyballs though, so I definitely recommend.

Sooo cool. I want. I've been waiting for these to reappear.
The verdict appears to be mixed on the Buckyball colors rubbing off. Apparently they do quickly on the cheaper ones, but it takes a while (if at all) on the Buckyballs.

a single regular 6x6x6 pack of these in a retail store will run you 30 bucks, 3 of these 5x5x5 sets is a good deal+ they are red/white/blue which makes them an even better deal.
But the picture shows 5x5x5 cubes.. thats 125-- but there are some lying to the side so looks like you can make a 5x5x5 cube and have 19 extras of each color... extras are usually expensive and hard to come by for all of us who go crazy if we cant make a perfect cube
