You guys forgot the best punctuation mark, the interobang!

Other -- I like the tilde (~) and upside down question mark (¿) I guess I'm a fan of Spanish punctuation. Asterisk (*) is pretty cool too. Poor comma... no one loves comma...

Edit: looks like comma got some love as I was typing my comment...

the brackets are the awesomest. Useful for both Math and English, the brackets allow a writer to put in an aside [like the note I have here] or add editorial notes or corrections in the middle of quoted material.

The interobang, of course. The question mark overlayed by the exclamation mark. Just match the dots at the bottom and there you've got it... whatever it is.
