only thing worse than the Steelers lagging behind the Ratbirds is having to hear about it in snippets

my choice of games is either Buffalo or Philadelphia

talk about a lose-lose situation

Well, you can watch house hunters on hgtv.
I saw this one before. The MOST obnoxious family ever. Hated the little girl before it was over.

Last time it was followed by one with people looking in Los Angeles. same price. The LA house would fit in the den of the house this family is looking for. They gripe and gripe because where they are living is less expensive and they had a monster house. They are downsizing to what can only be considered a HUGE house. 5,000 sq feet! Who needs that much space??????

After all that hype on the news about truck bombs and bridges and tunnels, Hubby went over two and no security at all.

Now he ate, and will expect another walk to see if there are doggies out at the park.

Home from the lake. The weather was glorious. We are canning 21 quarts of green beans. This is our first pressure canning attempt since 1980!

Going on the after dinner walk, then going through the burger king drive through for a burger.

Should be about 1/2 hour.

You guys better be doing something exciting here when I get back!

It is a lot of work! But it is a challenge. You aren't a good WNC wife unless you can green beans. Hubby and Daughter2 helped string and snap them. I would like to can some tomatoes too. Sort of a culture thing.

I did do 21 quarts of tomatoes. You still grow beans with strings? Are you out of your mind?

Edit: Boiling water bath, not pressure can for tomatoes.
