Safely at my parents place. Apparently my second cousin is going to be on Jeopardy tonight so we are all going to watch and see if he fails. I mean cheer him on.

Got out some of my old toys for the kids, they are loving them. Been playing with the Kindle I got for my birthday, and this is the first day I've used my laptop, now if I had an ipad..... ;)

Well, when I bring up the task manager, the only running application shows as a woot site. Of course on the other items (processes?) there are about 35 open. Noty too tech savy, and the lingo escapes me.

Well, it is Friday. I hate it when it is Friday and I need/want something and realize I have to wait until Monday. They would not have had you doing all the paperwork if you did not have a lock on the job.

well, I'm just sittin here catchin up on the news and find it hard to believe that there was a motor vehicle accident less than a mile from my house last night (at the end of my road) - person was killed....not only did I not hear the sirens or anything, I didn't even see the damaged tree he hit when I left for work this morning.

so I got bitched out by a lady at work today cuz I said if she didn't let us do an annual physical on her dog then she couldn't continue to keep bringing it in for nail trims....ya know, we are a vet, not a groomer, and we like to maintain that 'patient/client' relationship in order to provide services, hence an annual exam. She got soooo pissed off at me...kept calling me 'lady'.....as in 'ya know, lady, you can't do nuthin for my dog that I don't already know about'......*sigh*
