Ver1 lost her first tooth today while swimming in my sister's neighborhood pool. Found the tooth so that is safe. Didn't have a tooth fairy present, was wanting to do foreign coins, but hadn't really gotten my act together on it since we hadn't had any loose teeth. My mom hooked me up with Candian coins from our last trip 7 years ago (I was pregnant with Ver1 then) and I'm going to try to slip those under the pillow on a waterbed in an hour or two. Missing the crown, but I have one at home. Need to get some from other countries now.

Ver3 tried to drive his tractor (from woot) down grandma's stairs and walked away with a bonked head and a goose egg. Now he drives the tractor over there and puts both hands on his head and says "bonk bonk". I swear I'm going to bring a helmet at Christmas!

When we got married, hubbies little sisters went back to New Orleans for the rest of the summer, with the Aunt and Uncle.
One cousin didn't go to our wedding because his dog was going to have puppies. The pups were born on our wedding day.
The aunt and uncle sent one of the pups home with the girls.
We would go just to visit the puppy a few times a week. He loved us like we owned him. Only one HS age brother , who trained him, was his owner.

We later went to a wedding of one of those New Orleans cousins. They kept a pup, but used him as a guard dog. The family told the dog we were OK.
We took that dog on a walk, down to Lake Pontchartrain. He enjoyed it!

Two years later we were back for another wedding. Nobody was home and the dog was in the yard.
He saw us and ran to where they kept the leash!

2 years later he knew exactly who we were!



O M G a cat is walking outside! Scratchy watched every move. Then Rusty barked at it when it reached the back yard!
