About $3.90 a square foot, but other than ceramic tile it was my only viable option due to clearance issues. With ceramic I would have had to make sure the slab was pristine clean, acid washed, then neutralized etc. to be sure the adhesive would stick and even then they would eventually pop off. There was crappy looking outdoor carpet glued to the slab. I just had to rip it off and pressure wash the chunks of glue off so the decking would lay right. I will frame the outside edges in with furred out 1X4 pressure treated for aesthetic reasons.

Nice job on the deck!
Mosquitos are most likely because of the pond.Whoever owns it is usually required by code/bylaw to treat it, especially due the west nile threat. Adding an aerating fountain usually will help. Mosquitos don't like moving water.

Morning!
Got breakfast in bed this morning, am preparing to make chicken tamales and banana bran muffins.
Happy 4th--SO reminded me I no longer have to pay tax to him or drink his tea. ;)
