home from the movie. Nephew thought it was pretty good. I thought it was great! Although I'm more emotionally invested in the characters and story, having read it a zillion times.

Back from dinner. Cousin won on Jeopardy, so if anyone watches regular you'll have to tell me if he does good again on Monday. I won't have access to that channel then.

If I still knew all the crappy trivia I knew in college I might consider signing up too, his opponents didn't bother ringing in.

Only if people are here talking. That doesn't happen as much as it used to, woot-offs are a bit more chatty. Doesn't help its summer and people tend to find lives in the summer.

KtC, so funny you posted about your cousin. I was watching the show and when he said his location I said to myself, hmm, I wonder if KtC knows him. First time I ever heard anyone mention that area besides you. lol He sure did blow the other two contestants out of the water. Mind if I ask how old he is?

Have to go get myself ready for a baby shower brunch. Last three baby showers I had were morning ones. Is this something new around the country or just in my area?

For years they were afternoon or early evening showers. I'm not fond of people having to get up early on their day off work just to attend a shower. I'm awake anyway, but many others I know enjoy sleeping in on their day off. Timing just seems rude to me.

chamomile is a great anti-inflammatory - if ya got any chamomile tea, brew some up, cool it a bit, then use it as a compress over the swollen areas.

so just re-homed a saxophone. always hard to part with them but I know this one is going to a loving home.
