Did the kitchen floor! Good lord I am lazy. That should be done once a week. I end up wetting a paper towel and washing the floor with my foot.
It is annoying to actually do it right, because it really needs to be replaced.
But...might do an extension....I am willing to put down a normal floor, since we have been talking extension for YEARS.

Going to see Beatlemania, put on by the town, tonight.
It is the real cast.
The town does it every year. Feel obligated to go. It is free. It is close to home. We pay a ton of town taxes for stuff we don't want. So might as well go to something we have a interest in.

I use my Swiffer, put an old washcloth on it instead of the dust thingie. My floor's only supposed to be damp mopped, so this is perfect. Actually, husband put two together because the regular Swiffers are too short for me.

Poof, all I can say is...OUCH! Get better soon.

KtC, so funny you posted about your cousin. I was watching the show and when he said his location I said to myself, hmm, I wonder if KtC knows him. First time I ever heard anyone mention that area besides you. lol He sure did blow the other two contestants out of the water. Mind if I ask how old he is?

Have to go get myself ready for a baby shower brunch. Last three baby showers I had were morning ones. Is this something new around the country or just in my area?

For years they were afternoon or early evening showers. I'm not fond of people having to get up early on their day off work just to attend a shower. I'm awake anyway, but many others I know enjoy sleeping in on their day off. Timing just seems rude to me.

Have a good day all!

I can't say we were close exactly, I didn't even know my cousin was living there. I was just as shocked to hear it! I knew his older sister, who's the same age as me, better. He has an older brother who was in classes with my sister in high school and at first I thought that was who was going to be on the show. I asked my Mom how old he is and she isn't positive, either 26 or 27, his birthday was two days ago ;)

Back from the wedding and reception. There was a change of plan on the location for the reception, they didn't have it in the hooka lounge, instead it was in the restaurant next door. The town's pony bar was next to it.

I'm almost 5'11", so most mops and stuff are too short. And I have a bad back, too, so it helps a lot if they're longer. No way to rephrase that for No1.

The cast that was on Broadway, back in the day.

Perfect night to be outside!

It was on the football field, that is surrounded by a track. We were in the last row of the bleachers.
The stage is set up on one side, in the middle of the field, right before the track.

There was nobody else near us and a guy came and sat right next to us.

He must have been autistic. Very much like Rain man, but higher functioning.
He was very interested in the name of the song. Who did it (before the show, when music was on the PA) and the date it came out. Month and year.

Then with every song the "Beatles" played, he would ask if I knew the name and when did I think it came out.

He wanted numbers. What year did we meet? How long before we married? How many kids? How old?
How many kids in our families growing up?

He would start a sentence with statistically speaking, do you think?
It is more dangerous to drive now than when we were kids?
It is more expensive to have kids now, than when we were kids?
Are there more drunk drivers now?
Am I better off driving, or taking a bus (the guy didn't drive)

We figured this was going to be a problem, since he asked a billion statistic questions before the band started. But he stopped and only asked name of song, what date (year and month) do we think it came out.

So, not a problem.

The evening ended up being very, very pleasant!
Good music
Great weather

Strange, but interesting weird guy sitting next to us, who left before the show ended, after they played his favorite song.

Plus, at the end we got to see something you don't see every day....an old lady (around 70) dancing her way out to the parking lot, durning the last song, with her walker!

plus from the top of the stands, we got to watch the entire crowd. Watch little kids.
Older kids playing ball.
Two terror two year old boys! O M G it took a bunch of much older kids to keep track of them! They would run, but in opposite directions every time! Mom had them in BRIGHT yellow shirts! I wonder why! They loved the track.

Very pleasant time indeed!

Gman and No1, please note, no complaints in this post!
