Never let your teenager talk you into going to the mall on a cloudy day at the beach! It was like Christmas Eve/Black Friday all rolled into one.

LPlady you might try the Percy Jackson series. I loved it and I seem to have regressed to a 10 year old!

Uh-uh, klozitshopper joined two days before me.

Edit: And I believe she was born slightly before me, too.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

The grocery store had samples of chocolate cake and BROWNIES!

Since everyone knows that samples have no calories, it was great!

Are you a charter member? I really, really want to be a charter member. Should have been the first six months or everybody that joined in 2004. Oh, well.

Not bad.
Son is here. Not sure how long.
No phone calls from daughter...although hubby didn't get any either. That is worrisome.
It is WAY cooler!
Took Rusty on an adventure going to different pet stores, looking for fragrance free cat litter.
He enjoyed it.
Rained. Which means the dust at the dog park may be less the next time we go.
Saw a bunch of dogs up the block at the park. No other people! Dogs got to play off leash until they were tired!!!!
Saw Rusty's best friends mom, who is a doctor. Let her guess at what was wrong with my wrist. Her guess was the same as the doctors I went to.
Might go out of network if I need surgery. It is the right hand. Not something to screw around with. Although they took their daughter to the guy I went to. Same reason, took their insurance. I wonder if the big guy in that practice takes insurance, or just depends on the fact he is 1st choice for all the lists and all the doctors.
Unless the surgery is a really easy one, which it might be.

Fine until this evening. Major computer problems. (At least major to me.) Got son to stop by and he started it in safe mode and seems to be okay. I was getting blue screens and black screens and instructions that I had no idea what they were talking about.

I think I'm going to have to get some kind of backup. Would you suggest a laptop or another PC?

Depends on what you want it for. If you want to be able to take it traveling with you (through the house or on trips), then go laptop. If you are mostly going to use it in your office, a laptop would be ok but you'd want a keyboard (if you are a touch typist) and possibly a larger monitor to connect to it. If you're not going to travel with it, I'd suggest desktop because they are generally cheaper.
