I have a woot god request. Sort of a handicap request because I'm getting old and forgetful.

Is there any chance that where we have a number to tell us how many private messages we have that it could also go to a different color if we have a new message or maybe a mark next to it to notify us or something...anything to show notification of a new message waiting.

I don't remember what number I'm at when PM's are going back and forth or if I've been away from the computer and therefore don't realize someone has been waiting for a reply. I really need a senior notification flashing red light that says NEW MESSAGE but I don't want to be picky.

Agree. I don't even save all of mine and it's still hard. Sort of like "You've got mail."

I concur with this. Having a message indicator of read messages is kind of not very useful. Maybe email notification?....hint...hint...

Do we really need to know how many messages we have already read showing on our envelope? Isn't it more important to know that new messages are waiting for us?

I agree. I never check my PMs and I can never remember how many I have.

What you guys want is way too logical.

I send so few PMs I forget it's there. Then I'll use it for a few weeks, and then months where I forget about it, and I feel awful when I notice a PM after it's been sitting there for a while.

Yeah, and I hate to remind somone on the regular threads because it makes it look like I'm talking about somebody. Usually it's books or something like that that the population as a whole wouldn't be interested in.
