morning all.

I'll add to the happy friday bit. woohoo!

I swallowed my pride and listened to reason last night. We are taking the truck. It just makes more sense to do so and we can get out of debt a lot sooner if we can wait about a year.

good for you. It will be fine and I bet you won't regret it, but would likely regret the new one on the first car payment

Good morning all. Had some rain overnight. Husband's happy, doesn't have to water.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

I don't know that we would necessarily regret having the new car, or the car payment, but we would be better off getting credit cards paid off instead of getting farther into debt. I think that would be our biggest regret. The check for the car will help a lot in getting us out of debt. My bonus will help even more and as long as the truck lasts us until our next tax return, we should be completely done with the exception of my car and the house.

Good morning everybody! Busy getting stuff done at mountain house so we can go back to the beach. Baking cookies for a meeting tomorrow night. (Pecan Chewies from southernbite.com I only use one stick of margarine) I made two pans full so maybe that will be enough and some to snack on. We mowed grass last night. Going to mow some more as soon as the cookies come out of the oven. Lots of rain here, none at the beach.

Back from the landfill. Expecting big storms this afternoon; might stay more to the north and miss us, though.

Good afternoon all. Already done grocery shopping, hairdresser, donations to GoodWill, filled car with gasoline. Feel like it must be late in the day! Ever since the accident, the gas mileage on the car is awful. I complained about it to the dealer/bodyshop after the first pickup. They said the front end crash should not affect the gas mileage because the engine was OK. You all know how I trust these guys. Mileage has dropped about 5MPG with exact same pattern of driving. Anybody have an opinion?

Are you using the A/C now more than pre-accident? A/C use can easily account for 5 mpg.

Thanks!

Getting ready for vacation here. Just took down the warped (since we moved in) and holey ceiling (since two Christmases ago). Orc's going to make the hardware run. Putting in a new ceiling light and switch as well.

I'm on Google+ as well as facebook, so feel free to add me to a circle

Brought in and picked up son's car. It is all in one piece now.

Went to dog park. Actually nice. Overcast, so not so hot. Even the dogs played!
Saw my little buddy doggie, Peanut. It is fun that something gets so very excited to see me!
Went to dinner.
Printed out directions to the in law party tomorrow.
Cleaned the clutter from Daughters room. Put it in my room.

Tried to walk Rusty in the rain. Not heavy rain. He did some smelling and calling card peeing and then wanted to go home.

But you mean now....

I'm doing this.
W T H does it look like I'm doing?!?!?!?

Oh, at dinner we both sent a bunch of texts to son, just to piss him off!

I prolly won't be able to start any earlier than 5:30 am!

If I enjoy it? Bonus!

I'm always borderline cranky.

I'll have to be circumspect about posting initially; we'll just have to see how things go.
