Excellent deal. Any Razer mouse is pretty good in my opinion (especially off of woot).

Got this in the last woot-off. This is an amazingly good deal. Seriously nice mouse. And it's LAST generation, the current one is, I think, 6000dpi. The difference between my Logitech MX Revolution's precision and the Lachesis 4000dpi is pretty remarkable.

I bought a different Razer mouse (similar but different shape) from a previous Woot and it has been the best mouse I've owned.

Lachesis was the apportioner, deciding how much time for life was to be allowed for each person or being. She measured the thread of life with her rod. She is also said to choose a person's destiny after a thread was measured. In mythology, it is said that she appears with her sisters within three days of a baby's birth to decide its fate.

Have the same mouse, it's absolutely great. I did a review, in case you want to have a read before you buy!

Got one of these in a previous Woot!, still works ALMOST great - small problems with the wire that are my fault. I bought a new one yesterday for 50$, and of course you drop this on me NOW!

I keep stocked up on these. That way I have a spare when my cat chomps through another cord. She gets jealous that I pay more attention to the computer than to her.

The killer features of Razer's mice are aimed primarily at gamers. Lots of programmable buttons, very high DPI (sensor resolution, detects every small movement very accurately, and detects every large movement very accurately - lower resolution optical sensors or less impressive laser sensors can have some difficulty tracking very small or very large movements, both common in games).

4000 DPI is already amazingly high resolution. The modern one is 5600 DPI, so it adds on 1600 DPI to the already-impressive 4000 DPI. However, a new Razer Lachesis with their "3.5G" sensor, compared to this refurb last-generation unit with its "3G" sensor, costs about $45 more than buying the woot.

Since I'm not a professional gamer (and a professional gamer would buy a more expensive mouse, though it probably would be a Razer, they're the go-to for competitive gaming in most folks' opinions)... I don't find the price difference between the new one and this refurb worth the feature difference.

Thus, the 1600 DPI of the new one is an insufficient enticement to get me to shell out $45 more.

Has anyone else noticed a delay in shipping? Estimated delivery was tomorrow (19th) according to tracking yesterday (17th); now it has moved to the 21st? How does it take FedEx 5 days to move a package 500 miles?

I will speculate and say maybe something got backed up at the KCK FedEx location? My other package coming from there is also delayed a day, and that package has been sitting in KCK for 4 days now.

Dang FedEx, this is bootsy.

It doesn't look like you emailed into us- can you please do so and let us know what they told you?

Well, now I feel bad for slamming FedEx. Got my mouse yesterday in a sweet Woot! box.

Mine wasn't working correctly at all on Windows 7 drivers. I ended up going to the Razer website and downloading both the Windows 7 driver set as well as the firmware updater for the mouse.

After installing and configuring the drivers, I have all of my button functions but no movement on the mouse still. Apparently, this is a driver level issue with Windows 7.

Razer support for me is non-existent. I have sat on hold waiting for tech support for 20 minutes twice now, and I am waiting on an email reply from Razer now as well.

Woot, perhaps you guys could get in on this to have Razer actually direct customers on the proper methods to install the Lachesis on a Windows 7 PC?
