Oh, and of course, not to be confused with the other Ninja Warrior:

I bought the similar Ninja Master Prep Food and Drink Mixer the last time it was on woot! and have yet to find the Master Ninja inside! Ninja's are very sneaky that way!

Seriously though, if this one is anything like Master Prep version I have, it is really good. I've enjoyed making super smooth smoothies with it and this version looks even easier to clean than the one I have.

Amazon has something similar

But that's only for you "special" people who want to pay more. It's kinda an emperor's new clothes deal at the Amazon link. On the really smart people pay more for a similar product. ;)

Boooo on me... I was about to post that I read Three Blade Technology as Three Blade Glory.... I am blaming it on the bottle of Four Loko I drank... I am a light weight.

So... now I can blame failure to read through whole description on that too.

Feel free to blame any other failures or pwnages today by anyone on my Four Loco drinking.

TIme for bed.............

It's AWESOME! So much more powerful than the immersion blender I already had and have loved.

In the two weeks or so we've had it, it's already been put thru it's paces to make snow cones (adult version), ice cream, salsa, soups, pesto, salad dressing, and innumerable smoothies (unfortunately for my expanding waistline). Next up, hummus and gazpacho!

I got this unit last go around. Pretty solid device, pulverizes ice and makes some smooth smoothies. It is great for summertime piña coladas and other adult beverages.

Its processing bowls are larger than I expected, which is nice when preparing large portions. Get one. I dont use any other blender of processor except for this.

I bought this the last time it was up and it has been the most amazing kitchen gadget I've ever owned. Really makes snow out of ice in seconds, great for smoothies and most importantly.....contributes to my alcoholism with the nightly daiquiris/margaritas. I'm in for another 3 for Christmas gifts for the family.

This is a nice deal, but I prefer an uncorded handheld.

Bought one in the last woot for my wife to replace her 15 year old equivalent that was experiencing some, uh, structural failures.

Boy is she happy. This thing has plenty of power, and works as easily as you could ever imagine.

Two thumbs up!

Bought one the last time it was on woot.

I haven't used the processor bowl yet, I've only been using it as an immersion blender.

So far so good. It's easy to clean, and doesn't seem to have the usual nooks & crannies like some other brands I've used, that made cleaning a pain. I haven't blended ice yet (don't have any currently), but it goes through anything else I've thrown at it. Pureed frozen berries and turned a handful of almonds into almond dust & bits. The handle is comfortable and the buttons are easy to hold while your using it, unlike my last one which had the button on top, causing constant cramping..

I've not had it long enough to comment on how long lasting it is going to be. Only thing I wasn't too keen on was the way the parts connect together. When the motor & immersion wand are connected, it seems a bit looser than I'm used to. Nothing like it's going to fall off, I just kind of expected a tighter connection is all. Also, you have to start a quarter turn away from where the lock image is, not where the unlock image is. Once you figure it out, it's not a big deal, but it isn't marked well for the people that don't read directions.

Nope, $5 shipping for up to 3 of any one item. Correct me wooters, if I'm wrong.

Any advantage to using this item to make smoothies n such instead of the
Ninja Master Prep Professional 450-Watt Food Processor that I got from Woot about 3 months ago? Other than the fact that I already have the
Ninja Master Prep Professional 450-Watt Food Processor? Or one should always have a plan B?

I totally want one of these; the only thing that's making me hesitate is the lack of a whisk attachment. Does this thing whisk at all well (whipped cream, eggs, etc)?

I think you're referring to the Kitchen System model. That one blends, mixes, processes etc.

A well timed Woot!

My last immersion blender just failed in dramatic fashion a few days ago while making butternut squash soup. Plastic housing around the blades deformed while blending, allowing the blades to tear up the bottom of the pot. As quick as you can say "Shazbut!", Teflon flakes began to come up to the surface and I was out a blender, a pot and my dinner.

In for one.

It would mix eggs easy but not sure whipping cream although I wouldn't be surprised if it did. I've made ice cream with this model using 3 cups frozen strawberries, 2 tbs sugar and 3/4 cup milk and scooped it out directly with only those 3 ingredients. This thing is amazing.

We have Ninja product and after 6 months we are very happy with it's performance. The blades have not dulled. We make salsa, blend sauces, smoothies, pesto, grind up breadcrumbs, frozen drinks (virgin we promise) and we chop up batches of fresh herbs.

The only gripe we have is that we did not buy more containers!

The features mention it "whips up cream" so I'm hoping it'll do both of those things well. Worst case, I can use it for smoothies at least. In for one!

The handle is plastic, but very solid-feeling. The ice-crushing attachment is metal and feels very substantial, with some plastic bits on the inside.

I bought one last time it was offered.

It came with a lot more accessories than I expected, I was only really interested in it as an immersion blender (I already have a food processor).

Blends quickly and cuts well to make smooth purees. The triple-blade system seems to work well (they seem to be geared to turn together at the same rate).

I made some soup with broccoli and golden beet greens and it turned out nice and smooth.

Feels well-made, quite heavy and the drive shaft/connector is metal.

Easy to clean - just pulse it a couple of times in soapy water then rinse.

Got mine last week and haven't even had a chance to use it yet. Upon inspection all the components seem to be good quality, a good bit heavier than my old Braun handheld. The bowls are a great size yet don't overwhelm my tiny kitchen. The blades look very wee so I was skeptical of their chopping ability; I'm glad to see other wooters are impressed. I want to try making ice cream!
