I find it amusing that I am one of the lucky few that not only got 5 different colors, 5 still working watches and were able to set the time on them as well.

To set the time you double click on the left button which should bring you to month (change with right button) press left button again for date, again for time. This is the only tricky part: after you set the desired time you double click and cycle through until you see the ":" seconds blink and then you are set.

I ordered 1 of the five packs and all of mine are working really well. It may just be the luck of the draw or they way there were handeled in shiping.

I'm not too impressed with the watches but I might just pull the trigger on this for the cool BOXES they come in!

I was thinking the Tins looks decent for 99 cents. Definitely worth more than the watches.

FYI Woot, next time you should list these as tins that happen to include a watch.

bought a pack of five a few weeks ago. they showed up, and 4 of them didn't even work. as in, no battery or the battery was dead.

as for the other one, i set the time... and 3 hours later the time was already screwed up. these are worthless unless you like colorful wristbands. and even then... the biggest size didnt fit my wrist. they would only fit a 7 year old girl's wrist.

i was going to ask woot for a refund on principle, but decided it wasnt worth the time.

a shame woot is still trying to hawk these.

w00tTF is this? Are you kidding me? These are ridiculous... C'mon w00t, give us something we can work with. Give these out for Halloween already and cut your losses. You're not going to sell these no matter how many times you list them for sale.

Breo Skin Watch - Only 99 cents!

At This Price, They Won't Last!

I love my watches, got 2 sets last time, figured I'd get one of each color, but got 2 of 5 colors. So I'm getting 3 more colors for an almost full set. Mine work fine, I wear them gardening. Got enough colors to match all my crocks now. Setting the time was a little tricky until I figured out that you have to get the : to blink before you're done. That was missing from the instructions. The tins are real nice bonus.

Kingu

I actually have this vague belief that someday I can put a real watch into the band...

Notes on water resistance: The tiny paper the watches come with details not to wear while swimming or showering. And really, it's not much more than a piece of plastic over the watch to provide the water resistance. They would be unsuitable for waterparks.

But aside from showering, Ive had mine on since they arrived, and it works fine. Took me a bit to figure out the part about waiting for the : to get it all running, but once figured out, it works just fine.

All in all, any 99 cent store would be proud to sell these watches. But, really, Woot, you're not a 99 cent store. This is a deal worthy of moofi, not Woot!

Our arrived with dying batteries such a disappointment because the kids really like wearing them. The watch mechanical part is also very cheaply made.

I also was apparently a lucky one to receive five different colours and all working ones!

For a slightly more boring picture than the one above:

Edit: Smaller pic also...

Not going to lie, I wear my watches in the shower (even though the directions advise against it!) I also wore mine to a water park and it did fine as well...

I'm an average sized woman and the 18cm ones fit perfectly. I measured my wrist to make sure they would fit before I ordered because I knew with this style their was a chance of that.

How to return? Drop them in the woot! return bin! Most all homes have them. They're round and usually located in kitchens or bathrooms. Toss them in there and wait for woot! to refund... Good luck ;o)

I am a little bummed about this auction, because I bought two 5 packs of these a few weeks ago. When they came in a five pack of random colors. I would have liked to pick the colors. As far as function they have been great. They are only waterproof for a couple of feet under. I swam laps with one on or splashing it doing dishes is fine, but my daughter swam down 7 feet and that one was ruined. I think she may have also pressed a button when it was under water which you are warned not to do in the instructions along with wearing it in the shower. These are really great if you have a job or hobby where you can't have watch edges scraping things. They aren't that complicated to set. You just have to remember to press the right button when you're done so the dots between the #s start flashing. If you forget the clock doesn't start. Other than that it's pretty self explanatory no frills watch. It'll show time, date and a seconds counter, that's it. If you have a few of these you don't have to worry about the watch breaking, because you can just swap another clock into the watchband. I hope I'll have these for a long time and I know they'll make great cheap gifts with their cute little tin boxes

Got some last time. While they are cheap, they are pretty wearable as well as comfortable.

I recommend getting more than one. My pet rat destroyed one of the black ones I had. However, thinking ahead, I had a spare.
