No, it's actually on campus. They set up a roller cooker in the lunchroom, and have steamed buns and condiments, and bunches and bunches of Nathan dogs. If I hadn't just warmed up my lunch (linguine carbonara) I totally would have--Nathans dogs are awesome.

Seems people spend more in the dollar store when a storm is approaching. I overheard the cashier next to the line I was in say the total is $236 to the lady.

I just went for plastic plates, cups, utensils, hand can opener and spent a whopping $12. Wonder what she bought

NYC is closing public transportation and the bridges (nyc is 3 islands and the bronx, one island is long island).

Yeah, that will help if you need, or want to get out.

I've been making blocks of ice in zip lock bags.
Looks like it is going to work out fine.
Today I'm making flat slabs of ice.

unfortunately it is most likely a female spider

(note I say 'most likely' as some male spiders do make webs too)

and yes, this is mundane.....as follows...
I like spiders - I enjoy learning about them and their behaviors. Another part of my mundane life. Therefore this comment is mundane.

cuz, ya know, I don't wanna be breakin no rules of mundaneness (mundanenicity??) here

This time of year they are everywhere.
I walked through a web between the driveway and house.
Came into the house aggravated and then this spider fell out of what I was carrying and landed on the table.
Usually I catch and release...not this time. I squashed it.

Not a good animal week. Squashed the spider. Punished the dog longer than he would know what he was punished for. Plus it was the little dog that always acts like he wants to kill rusty. I shouldn't have let rusty off leash.
