This might be a more reliable way to ascertain the unemployment rate than actually reading the government's reports.

I am on my 4th boss in as many years and have not met any of them in person yet...

Not when you count the number of folk responding "I don't have a job" due to retirement or raising children. No breakout there.

I took early retirement so that I didn't have to put up with the idiocy. My ex (thank god) boss made Dilbert's pointy-haired boss look like a genius.

I work for my Mother-in-Law... Need I say more?

Any boss that I can talk about my favorite movies with is definitely okay in my book!

Not quite that bad for me.
I've been with the same company for 12.5 years, and have had either 15 or 16 different bosses (I've lost count), in the three different positions I've held.
Most of the bosses I met, eventually, although there was the one person who was my boss for just 3 months, that I only talked to once on the phone, and never heard from him again...

Although, I've also known people to make the same claim about retirement.

The only boss I have now,is my wife,been retired for 10 years now,and I am enjoying it.Don't have to hold back what iam thinking,can tell off anyone,and don't have to worry about losing my job,LOL.Iam a easying going person,just don't pisssssssssss me off!!!!Their I said it.

I am retired, but still married, so the spouse is the boss. She thinks she's excellent at it, I think that what she thinks may be an early indicator of senility.

my boss is a fellow wooter, so of course, she's good.

I'm my own boss in a company of one; ergo, I'm also the billing department, supply manager and cleaning lady.

While I definitely agree that raising children is a full time (and often thankless) job even in ideal situations with perfect kids, it is not included in surveys such as this because you don't get paid and the government can't tax you for your efforts. The gov't only cares if they can tax you for it. Please, don't give the govenment any ideas that they can start taxing stay at home parents because "raising children is a full time job."

To be perfectly honest, I'm still a little blurry about who exactly I should call my boss. As a contractor, I tend to get passed around like a doobie.
