Got my package yesterday. Got the shipping email today. The box has an HSN sticker on the side, so I'm assuming that this is the HSN "exclusive" package, but I haven't opened it yet to see if I got any extra feet.

Now, it's really time to take that sewing class - I've never used a serger before.

Tracking alert! We just wanted to let everyone know that our vendor messed up the tracking info somehow and your tracking might not show the correct info.

HOWEVER, we are working on getting the right numbers, but you can also track your order by using the zip and order number with UPS.

Email us a service@woot.com if you are still having issues with the tracking.

I got mine this afternoon, but haven't gotten to open it yet. Hope I have the extra feet too.

Got tracking e-mail today. I've been drooling over this set since I saw it on HSN. We get the extra feet too?! I can't wait.

Got the tracking info, was supposed to be here yesterday but has been delayed. 'Weather conditions might delay delivery of this shipment. This is the most current information available. Please track again later for status updates.' Oh well...not Woot's fault, or UPS, it's those darned hurricanes that keep coming up the east coast and flooding everything in their path. At least I know where it is and what's happened, and that it will be on the way again once things have settled that way.

I received my serger and sewing machine on Wednesday. The extra value package with the extra feet were in the little accessory drawer.

Does anyone know if you can attach this to a sewing table?

Has everyone been getting theirs from ups? They still say they have no package for me that they can track, but I was told it had shipped last week.

Yay! Singer is sending me a shipping label to return the serger and then they'll send me a new one!

I hope you all are enjoying your new machines - mine seems to have been invisibly delivered to me today and I can't find it :-( UPS says it's delivered - I was here all day; it wasn't.

Now it's up to Woot to start an "investigation" according to UPS. I have emailed Woot already and am confident they will follow-up but I'm the one out of a sewing machine since I already donated my old one to a fundraiser yard sale.

Waa..waa..waa. Okay. I'm done whining and crying now.

My eldest son bought me both. I have been sewing for 40 + yrs and quilting for about 30. I haven't tried the Serger yet, but the Singer Perfect Finish sewing machine is the BOMB ! It sews faster than the 2 Vikings and a New Home I have. I'm totally pleased.

Hey Woot,

My LCD on my sewing machine does not work at all. How long does it usually take to get a replacement?

Sorry for the problems. Please email service@woot.com for assistance. They'll be better able to answer your questions.

I did e-mail them, well the RMA at woot and told them my LCD did not work and their response was how is the machine defective?

There is nothing on the LCD at all. It's blank, no pictures, symbols, letter, etc. Just a blank screen.

Anyone else have this problem?

I think my serger is broken, too! When I unpacked it, it was threaded and had a small piece of fabric under the presser foot. When I turned it on, I lightly pressed on the pedal, and it made a loud UNNNNNNNNNNNNNN noise but made no motion.

I haven't investigated further, but it did not sound healthy. I don't know enough about sergers to immediately tell if the machine is threaded correctly, but it just seemed weird to unpack a threaded machine.

Did anyone else have the same experience? Do I need to contact Singer? Arrrrr.

How the heck do you thread this darn thing? The automatic needle threader is blowing my mind and so is the top-loading bobbin. Read the manual, now to watch a video on Singer's site...

If anyone's having issues with any of the special stitches (such as the cursive lettering), make sure you have a backing material under your fabric if it's very thin. I took my machine into a Singer Sewing Center because the cursive letters would bind up and write over each other.

Also, anyone can take their machine to get adjusted for the first 90 days (I used a printed out woot receipt with a copy of the singer warranty online). Here are the locations where you can get this done for free.

Received mine and I'm delighted! I've been sewing for 30+ years and I've used a lot of machines. I am shocked at the quality of these machines for the price.

Sewing machine has so many features that my high-end Babylock machine has. Got the extra feet, too. It is a little louder than a top of the line machine, but it sews beautifully. I also tested denim and it sewed very nicely after I lengthened the stitch to 2.5 or 3.

The serger worked great, too. The little spools of thread it comes with are crap, so buy some better thread for best results. Don't unthread the machine tho - just tie the new thread to the old thread and start stitching. (One of the cool things about sergers.) It is hard to thread the lower loopers on this machine vs my other sergers. You will have to use the long tweezers included and you will also need a good light pointed at it. Other than that, I am very happy with the serger.

This was a heck of a deal.

I know I am super late, but I was broke when this woot was posted. Any chance that there are any left? My birthday is the 7th and that would rock to get this combo.

Sorry, but after an item has sold out or the day has ended we can't offer it for sale anymore. Maybe check back during the next Woot-Off and we might be offering it again, but no promises.
