If anyone is getting moths in their dry goods, you can get Pantry pest traps that will take care of the little moths. It has a pheromone attractant with a sticky strip inside to draw them to their deaths. I just put one out and had a dozen moths in a few days. (and i keep all my items in sealed containers). But you bring home moth eggs in your food and they hatch out, say in your dog food or pasta.

On the keyboard of life always keep one finger on the escape key.

I've got the traps. They work but it takes some time.

Meh, I have had several of these and my only complaint is that after normal use the tabs on the lids eventually snap off. I guess there is a limted amount of opening and closing you can do before the plastic gives.

They hold bees and/or fairies okay, but the bees and/or fairies suffocate. The potions will be okay. But green potions won't. So, if you have any green potions, keep them in a mesh bag.

I bought these seperately from different stores. I love them and this is an amazing deal. My daughter is 6 and she can open them no problem

We bought some from QVC and love them, in for one even though I am not crazy about the orange color. Should have gotten them earlier rather then waiting for "she who must be obeyed" to give me the green light to buy them.

They have these on QVC all the time and the women fills the container locks it and then drops it and they never broke or opened. they are great.

In for 3. Unfortunately I'm stuck with all orange. Wanted to give a set to each of my two daughters but now I'll just keep all three since they'll just randomly steal all mine anyway.

Any color you want, as long as it's orange.
I'm in for 3 anyway. They will be harder to lose and less likely to be "borrowed".

You should only buy 1,2,3 or 5 if used for food. I think these are 5 but i could not confirm this for sure.

These are a 5. I know for sure because I own a gazillion of them, so just went and looked.

This Jennifer is so sad that sleeping in until 7:30 am PST means that she can't buy the 3 she would love to have. Sorry kids, stale leftovers, sorry geocachers, but your log books will be wet. Damn the one day I sleep in!

Man, my husband has been bugging me to buy more of these! Woot really should have a reserve for us normal people who are *not* awake before 8 in the morning! Okay, okay...I guess I could have checked last night...but then I would have had to interrupt my husband's Doctor Who marathon which put me to sleep in the first place....

Oddly enough the ONLY reason I didn't jump on this deal was the water bottle. I have SOOOO many water bottles, I can't justify another in the house. If it had been another container, I'd have been ecstatic to go in, but alas.

My guess is that in a future "Woot Off" they will have a limited number up. They usually have a small reserve supply to cover shipping mishaps etc... Also, being they sold out so fast, I would not be surprised if they showed up again.

How did I get here?

I've actually used these containers for my First Aid kit in my car. You can fit a lot of things (band-aids, wraps, various emergency meds, triple antibiotic, flash light, and anything else you can think of) in a secure container.

Not to mention that when storing food in them and putting them in a cooler full of ice, you food doesn't get soggy since it's water and air-tight.

Two for the wife and me and the 3rd one for my aunt who has given me countless pieces of tupperware over the span of my lifetime filled with delicious foods...

In that case, you should have bought 3 sets for her. You know, for more food

Question for those of you who already own a gazillion of these since ages - What is their country of manufacture? We know that these current ones are made in Vietnam.

I ask because Pyrex used to put out top-quality stuff. And then the company changed hands, and they first tweaked the material used for the lids, and then the glass, and now it has gone to the dogs. Wondering if that might be happening to LnL as well.

Good thing I read this; I was going to freeze all of mine and then drop them purposefully on the ground.

Other helpful tips might include -
1) Do not put them in your oven and set at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
2) Do not cut them into tiny strips and then glue them back together before storing food inside them.
3) Do not tape your food to the outside of the container as opposed to putting your food inside the container.
4) Do not use as a replacement washer fluid basin for your car.
