Finally got my first bag o' crap today... 5 tabs continually refreshing after 503's. 3 tabs never made it to the order page, and one never made it to the stupidly big button, but one finally did and managed to get through.

Funny enough, it got the order through without actually loading the "order in" page properly, so I kept reloading for another 15 mins... until I saw the email sitting in my inbox saying my order was placed.

Can't wait to see what's inside.

Darn, I appear to have JUST missed it today. Maybe another one, Woot Angels?

The only Bundle of Crops I have scored contained: Zoom pet brushes (sold on eBay for $2 more than I paid for the Bundle of Crops, Laptop cooling pad (much-needed at this house) and one of those ubiquitous Helicopter Head Batman toys, which will probably be a birthday present for my nephew.

I'm up to 9 after today's bag. You've just gotta keep refreshing and sometimes it goes through. I've missed more than I've gotten, but it is always fun either way. (but obviously more fun when I get one...)

Woot should limit the number a bags to one a year per person. So other wooters can get a chance at one, instead of the bots.

3 so far for me.

2 have been crappy. Some of the stuff was: headphones for the old Gen 1 iPod Nano, handful of Sansa recharging cables, and a box of nearly expired calendars. But I suppose the $8 was worth the fun of waiting and the anticipation.

1 was decent. Came with a refurbished Kodak 14 MP camera that my wife keeps in her purse all the time. (Worth about $50.) Also came with a case of toy tractors. (8 of them) Those were probably worth about $3-5 each.

So overall, they've been fun and SOMETIMES you get something better than crap.

How would they do that? People would just sign up for a new account with a different user name. Some have even been known to do that to get past the normal limit of 3 items per order.

Agreed, I have been trying to get one for almost a year now. My friend has been trying for over 4 years. I have only missed about 1 wootoff since I registered and I have gotten no bindle of carrots.
Today I was on 4 devices, with like 10 tabs each (except on my iphone, and tablet) constantly refreshing the pages, I got to the final page three to five times. I press the final button and poof 503 error. I refresh it a bunch of times keeping the post data and then the site gives me an error when it finally loads (and I have to start over on that tab) or it never even loads. I was doing that for the entire 45mins that it was going on.
I think they should set forth 1000-1500 of them each time for people who have not gotten any for the year or at all (like me and many others). I am just like it says on the survey, "Until I get one, just one freakin Bindle of Carrots, I will not woot on anything else (unless I really need it [like my mouse broke last week and I got a gaming one today])."

I have been lucky to get a few (over 4) along with all the other stuff I have bought and the WAY to many shirts I have acquired.

I just have not been luck the past few times, missed out on them. Wasn't able to be near a PC and my phone would tell me it was there but never been able to grab one with my phone.

I don't really try anymore.

I was able to get one in my 1st week or so as an active Wooter (one heck of a way to be initiated into this world). I think I scored about $100 worth of stuff and I only paid $8. So of course I try hard to not miss one, being optimistic that the next one would be as gratifying.

Tried many times, and no dice. I've gotten as far as putting in the 3-digit security code on my credit card, clicking to buy, and then. . . .nothing. The system came to a screeching halt for me. The transaction timed out, and of course at approx. 10 minutes into the Woot Daily Deal, it was sold out. :-(

I haven't tried again since that time (approx. 2 yrs ago).

Maybe someday. . . . :-)

I was going to give up after this woot-off, but I managed to score an infamous Bandoleer o' Carrots! I think the length of time it was up was what allowed me to get in on this one. I just came back to my desk when it came up and I got to the initial purchase screen right away, then several scores of refreshes I got to the disturbingly large button but never did seem to get a confirmation. Then I noticed an email came in that I had submitted a payment to Woot. I am so stoked, been wooting since 2006 and I finally joined the elite cadre of Bundle of Crops wooters!

BOT-controlled BS! Haven't won one in years thanks to automated crap like Wootalyzer. I love the tool, but the not the unfair advantage presented ONLY to those who use it.

Why is Wootalyzer unfair? Anyone can download it for free. The only advantage I find is that it alerts me. Then I open a half-dozen browser tabs and keep refreshing them.

Took nearly 20 minutes of refreshing to score a bag this time: first getting an order screen, then the confirmation, then getting the order to go through.

But if you're patient, you can do it. This was my 8th successful Regional Bell Operating Company. Need any 2010 Jumble calendars?

Just have to hang in there, maybe do some isometric exercises on your F5 finger...

1- The only Bundle of Crops I got was during the kodak printer juke.

Got to the Is this info correct screen today, then error 503 when I clicked, so close...

Personally, I think there is no "Bindle of Carrots" only that WOOT is full of Crap. In six years I have never gotten one, I know no one who has ever been able to get one and I think the Woot crew is full of it.
It is a marketing ploy and a way to distract honest Wooters away from more important things, like Christmas morning with the kids.
I find it suspicious that every time after waiting for twenty or twenty-five minutes their server goes down.

I wasn't sure how to answer, thinking maybe 3, so I checked my account history.

I've gotten 6, with my first one in 2007 and my latest one back in July.

I remember the thrill of getting my first one after being a member for nearly 2 years... it was SO exciting! The rest don't even come close to how geekingly thrilling that was.

How about 11 attempts to buy a Bindle of Carrots only to be ERR505 by the Woot process server? Maybe change the selection entries to reflect Zero due to ordering glitch.

I'm up to 14 including today's bag. (13 actual bags and 1 dow jones win)

Best stuff: 30 GB Zune with car kit (still in service), a Hoover Floormate, 7MP Polaroid camera (great for the kids), Bushnell Onix 400 GPS, 3X Delphi Roady XM radio receivers, 16X XM radio installation kits, 29X XM radio antennas

Worst stuff: dusty old empty three ring binders, a Skil Screwdriver set (sans the screwdriver), the face plates for a Polaroid digital frame, random pre-waxed earphones, Camp Rock Twin Bell Clocks.

It's always such a blast, and I think that I have found at least one useful item in every bag I've gotten. I love the excitement and seeing what crazy stuff others have gotten

None. None at all. I have been glued to my screen for days, I have several browsers and 3 of us on different computers trying desperately for just one Bundle of Crops I refreshed for an hour and a half, 10 tabs at one point, oh and a phone. I just want a Bindle of Carrots.. just one. I promise if I get one I will be happy forever

After wooting for over 6 years I finally snagged a Bundle of Crops last month. The joke was on me as the items inside were truly a waste of my money. I could barely give the stuff away and not one item was worth the time it took to get it. Used to be that you would get at least one electronic-type item, but those days are over it seems. I mean a small, girl's-sized t-shirt? Really? This overweight, middle-aged man was not amused. Topsy-turvey strawberry planters...at the end of August in Illinois? A cloth shopping bag? 50¢ at WallyWorld. A game titled "Truth, Dare or C R A P"? No lack of irony down there, eh Woot?

Could it be the Texas heat wave scrambled the brainiacs at Woot???

Nope, never again for me! Unless I can get those Topsy-Turvey planters to grow money bushes.
...sigh...

Odd. I got exactly those same things and was pretty happy with it. As good or better than some of the other Bundle of Crops#39;s I managed to get. Guess it's all a matter of perspective.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

Over 5 here. All sorts of different ways - the various online games, straight up, and with the help of a bot. The best was the first one, which was my first woot purchase.
