Well I got my burnt organic cabbage today

It finally arrived!

I saw a little white corner sticking out from under the marionette. Could it be? Well, it was a sheet of paper, but apparently TPW forgot to write anything on it. So it goes.

However this rather standard basket of caca does not meet the stated standards. I didn't get any crap! Everything in the box was or will be useful; even the blank paper was handy when we got a phone call and I had to jot down a note.

Now about that Honey-do list... wanna talk about inconvenient? Upon spotting it, my wife's eyes lit up... she beamed one of her most winning smiles at me and wandered off to post it in the kitchen. She was still smiling on her return. Feigning indifference I sauntered into the kitchen to get a drink and eyed the new addition to the refrigerator door. There, job number one was already filled out: "Clean the living room and get all that Zombie laboratory junk out of there!"

I am fortunate she hasn't found the ultra-secret secondary laboratory under the stairs... the ommmminous hummmmm of despicable devices being adequately muffled, and since my reward will be great, the zombie research shall be moved as requested.

And I shall have control of the TV remote for a week! Bwaa haa haaa!

SmartLOLPost tracking told me the expected delivery date was 10/4 but the postman rang the doorbell today.

So, yeah, for a brief moment, I was thinking, 'Is that a 13" MacBook?"

FedEx so pisses me off.

They say the package is on the truck for delivery, so I go into the office to wait for them. I keep the tracker up and wait, and wait. It goes to a delivery exception without a truck going by. I call the local office, they guys says, well the package never left the site. They just scanned it and then deleted it eventually. I'll get my package Tuesday.

Why is it that FedEx can claim they are attempting to deliver when they don't even put the package on the truck? Talk about sleazy business practices. This just reinforces my opinion that FedEx is a really bad shipping company.

Received my steaming pile yesterday. It contained:

Came home to a very LARGE Bundle of Crops My hopes had been low since this is crap, after all, and the ones I've gotten in the past have been some variation of the "standard" crap assortment. To my surprise, I finally got some wacky items.

1x KidKraft Fun Explorers Pirate Ship Play set - this thing is like 2 1/2 feet long with two large masts, which explains the large box. Looking at pictures on Amazon, pretty much all the pieces are there except two wooden sharks (wah!)
1x American Angler cordless fillet knife w/ carrying case - appears to be brand new. The instructions are unreadable, so I may cut an arm off
1x Gwen's nest tote bag
1x Honey Do list poster with pleasure tokens
1x bag of mini rawhide chews
Several post-it notes with the scribblings of Woot! madmen

Bindle of Carrots GET!! Mine included the following:

1. Star Wars Darth Vader case including "Mighty Beanz" capsules that do "battle" (I don't get it, but whatever, it's Star Wars)
2. Discovery Kids Climate Cubes, which includes a gadgets to measure wind speed, rainfall, and temperature.
3. 2x wibbly-FUN balls (read: Koosh balls)
4. Honey Do "pleasure" rewards poster, complete with 5 Honey Do metal tokens (HAH, I love it!)
5. Little cloth bag with a basket of seashells printed on it.

Overall, not bad for $8. Not super useful to me, but the Star Wars and Climate Cubes can go to my niece and nephew, the bag to my mom, the wibbly-FUN as "stress balls" at work, and the poster for... gag gift?
