Got my Box of Cobwebs the other day: -20 bags of jeff bezos flatulence -2 breo watches -1 honey do list -1 prince puppet -1 sea shell bag I didn't receive: -any wibbly funs -deadliest catch game -solar activity house -weather monitoring equipment -love letters from TPW I am not disappointed, but some of the other standard stuff was more interesting to me. Oh well, all in all, for my first Bucket of Candycorn its all good. Although if anyone wants to get rid of any items on my "did not receive" list, I'd be happy to pay shipping!
PocketBrain wrote:The count so far, no guarantees on completeness or accuracy, just a survey to let you know what is out there. What can I say? I get bored.
I don't care what other people care or think. I for one am very appreciative of you both compiling and sharing the Box of Cobwebs reports. Saves me from a lot of reading through pages and pages of, well, crap! In short: thank you! :D
Got my Bob O'Costas a week or so ago... I opened it with my family around and they made off with the contents before I could arrange the cats to snap a photo. I got a seashell bag (taken for collecting seashells) 2 rubber watches (wife & daughter each took one) Deadliest Catch game (Gee, no one wanted this) 2 wibble balls (This eliminates the sibling fights over the 2 in the last box) Honey Do poster (good luck with that, dear...) This was fun, I think next time I score a box it may be opened & stripped before I even get home. Thanks, woot! Any letters yet?
I think everyone can concur that although we all welcome our new Crapster overlords. Hopefully it'll go the way of Qwikster and go back to their original Box of Chinchilla ways.
just got mine the other day. 1 wibble ball 1 honey do list (pretty standard) 2 packs of rawhide dog treats 1 Sole skate (http://www.soleskate.com/us/) (havent seen anyone else post either of those) im actually pretty pumped about the sole skate..it looks like it might be fun
Another woot-off already? And still no sign of any Letters in the last Brisket of Carp... Perhaps there'll be another bag... and EVERY bag will have letters! :D (wait no that would be terrible)
How many Box of Cobwebs have been accounted for from the woot-off now? It would be interesting to know the fraction that have been seen, particularly since so far not a single letter has been reported.
Sorry, I just noticed I never posted mine. Much of the standard haul. 2 Breo Watches (both purple) 1 Deadliest Catch Board Game 2 Wibbly balls 1 Honey Do poster 3 Vino Pewter Wine Bottle Tags 1 Recyclable Beach Bag
I got email from Woot yesterday for a tracking number for another "1 Random". Different weight from my original package - 1.2 lbs. Estimated delivery from Fedex is 10/18.

Odds are whoever got the letter simply isn't an active poster here. Always a shame when that happens, so much fun hearing what the letter-bearers get.

Will do!
10/6 10:39 AM Looks like I'm SOL. Yesterday my Box of Chihuahuas was out for delivery. Today it says there was a "Delivery exception" and it was "Rerouted to revised delivery address". The routing arrow has turned from purple to red, right in the middle of "In Transit". We have a temporary change of address that is supposed to take effect on October 12, but haven't received any mail in four days. It looks like somebody screwed up and made it effective immediately :-( 10/6 10:06 PM I contacted the PO. They had mistakenly started forwarding my mail, but said it would be returned within two days with a sticker saying forwarding was not yet in effect. She said watch the Fedex tracker and call her back if it doesn't change by tomorrow. I assume the worst that could happen is that I'd have to call the other PO and tell them to hold the pkg. there until we arrive at our destination. That's assuming it wasn't returned to WOOT! 10/8 9:22 AM PO doesn't know where it is now, and Fedex tracker still gives the same red bar with "Delivery exception". I think I can safely assume there will be no fun filled WOOT box in my future :-( 10/11 7:40 AM Fedex shows it's in Western WA (I'm in Eastern WA) and moving again, but hasn't changed in two days, and doesn't say in which direction. If it's headed to Arizona I'm OK. If it's headed back here, it will possibly arrive tomorrow.....when my change of address does actually go into effect! That would put it right back into the loop. I'm about to give up!
I got two wibbly balls, a honey-do poster w/ tokens, Discovery Kids climate station cubes, and an HDMI cable (720p, by the way - not even 1080p), and a sea-themed tote. Seems to be the standard fare.
Did you get a letter in your original package or just a random email with tracking information after getting your original package?

HOORAY! It did show up today. Same old carp that everyone else got: 2x Wibbly balls (dogs are scared of them) 1x Deadliest Catch game 2x Brio Skin watches (fit around my elbow) 1 Kiddo Goal Chart (youngest kid is 37) 4x pewter bottle tags (don't drink) 1x Sand dollar tote bag The entire contents will go to the grandkids. Except the wine tags! They'll go to the parents.
Oh! My crap came a week and a half ago, but I've been very busy! It was: Two wooden prince puppets One Honey-do poster (with tokens!) Two florescent wiggly balls One HDMI cable One seashell bag Somehow, the least crappy, and yet, most useless Box of Cobwebs I've gotten yet. Puzzling, but not displeasing...
Well, I got my shipping confirmation from Woot for my Box of Cobwebs on 9/27. When I check the tracking number at FedEx, it shows that it's In Transit in Minneapolis (where I live), but the last time that was updated was 9/30...almost TWO WEEKS AGO! So, I checked the same number at USPS, and it says that they have received the electronic shipping info. The last time that was updated was 9/29...also TWO WEEKS AGO! So, at this point, it's been over two weeks since the thing was shipped, and I still don't have it. Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get my Box of Cobwebs
Just realized I hadn't posted my Box of Cobwebs yet. Here's what came in mine:
My vote is that in the future Woot! posts the packaging of a pallet for a letter receipient after the pallet has been shipped out for 2 weeks. I also vote that the soundtrack for the video should be "Pure Imagination" as items are randomly tossed onto the pile. As far as the letter receivers for this Burlap Origami Container, for my amusement, I will assume it was a pallet full of ExtendZe.

I got the exact same thing...kids loved the balls, I loved the HDMI cable, and the wife loved the 'honey do' list
It really sucks when the receivers of the coveted letter(s) don't document them here. Some of us live in anticipation of the cool or funny crap other people receive....
Edit: never mind.
