My two Mastiffs LOVE these things. Wish Woot offered them in Large. I only buy them a few times a year and have never had a problem with red stains on my light beige carpet.
doesnt seem like a great deal to me. $3.33 for a 9-oz bag ? This is exciting ?
My two dogs love these things! This is a good deal. In for 3 x 3. Hopefully, now they won't fight over them.
how much do they weigh here in the USA?
Can these be used as a satisfactory replacement for Zwieback toast?
My Mastiff "Bear" (RIP) was 183 pounds of fur, drool, and affection. Great dogs!
Narfcake wrote:A lightweight at 110#. Had her checked out when I adopted her last year, but the vet said she's healthy.
My sister has a male ... he weighs 160#.
Them aint dogs Them is Horses !!! lol Btw yall got saddles for them .?? lol Just kidding. Ive got A pug , an Shih Tzu and a Japenese Chin here.
And the funny part of the whole thing is that the Japanese Chin is only 7 lbs and he is the trouble maker of the Whole bunch lol.
funnywontons wrote:wow. I am offend.
Why would you be offended? He didn't say YOU would fill them with lead! You must be aware of what problems we've had with their imports from dog food filled with lethal plastic bits to dangerous baby food to toxic drywall. THAT should offend you!
I used to buy these for my little pup, and she'd unravel them, eat only the red, and abandon the white.
The bigger'un, on the other hand, would probably gulp the "small" bone down without even noticing it. She's eaten worse.
I used to give these to my dog, she loved them. However, the chemicals used to cure the rawhide was causing her to have seizures. I have switched her to a natural diet since then and she hasnt had under this diet.
My puggles love these (the mini-dingos). Definitely in for 1.
ginbak wrote:Yay! Dog stuff!
Unfortunately, these are too small for my catahoula (see tasteful avatar photo) and I'm not a fan of rawhide.
But I'm for a Woof! Woot!, yeah! I spend WAY too much money on my dog.
That is Just Fine I spend Way to much on my "boys" too (my dogs) .Besides they Deserve it. So dont worry bout the costs , Just think of the love in return .THAT makes it worth all the Investment in toys , med. care and even chewed up furniture , underwear and peed on carpets
Not good for dogs. Can be a choking risk as earlier described and can cause a blockage since they are not really digestible. Many other chew type goods that are not bad for the dog are available on the market.
Hmmmm, maybe these would stop the castrated beagle from humping the pug for 5 minutes.
What is the shelf life for these? I only have 1 tiny dog???
My two little dogs crave these ... they get one each morning .. and then try and steal each others Dingo. We send the leftover bones to my son's larger dog who likes them also.
My lab loves rawhides but these are probably too small for him, here he is saying hi-
Maybe somebody can make a new woot and make it like it was just before amazon bought it and jumped the shark!
This is wonderful!!
I'm in for the max.
My greyhounds can make their own bags of crap.
My Westie loves the mini dingos. She has to have one every evening. I am in for 3.
The package I have (not from woot) says made in Cambodia. My to Maltese love them.
Sidda23 wrote:According to the website, the rawhide treats ARE NOT a product of the USA. Buyer beware.
"Thank you for contacting Dingo. The only Dingo products made in the U.S. are all of the soft and chewy treats. Our rawhide treats are not made here."
Thanks .... no purchase for me ... only usa made rawhide ... not crap that other countries produce
Chinese? No way Jose.
I don't have a dog, but do you think a raccoon or possum would have any interest in these?
The Raccoon is the size of a dog, and tries to steal food from my cat all the time, similar to this:
If I don't find something the Raccoon likes i'm afraid it's going to start stealing my pizza.
This is the exact reason woot.com has gone from one of my most frequented sites to my least frequented. Doggy treats? Really?
I have been very careful where my dog's toys and food comes from.Made in the US are my first choice. They never get anything made in China. Since US made rawhides now cost 2 and 3 times as much and are often hard to find, we have had to go with ones made in Argentina, Mexico, and Brazil.
Someone says these are made in Cambodia. I will avoid, thanks.
YIPPYYY!!! Christmas for my maltese taken care of! My dog LOVES these dingo bones and goes through them like crazy - this is a FABULOUS price!! He gets the mini bones normally during the year and at Christmas he gets the bigger ones. Keeps him happy and out of the way while our 4 kids are ripping into their presents.
To answer someone's question - the red does not stain the carpet altho you might find little red pieces here and there where they have been snacking.
BEWARE: not made in the USA, and also rawhides aren't good for dogs (http://www.discussdogs.com/forum/f43/rawhide-bad-dogs-310/). These are marketed to people, why is there artificial coloring in it? Dog's can't see color and even if they could they wouldn't care. Pass on this.

I think I pay over $10 for 1 bag at a local retail store. So 3 bags for $15 (with shipping) is really good.
A great deal if you buy them anyway.
From a veterinarian's perspective, go easy on the amount of rawhides you give your dog. Some breeds are notorious for swallowing these whole which can take a cheap Woot into an expensive surgery...

Dogs can see color but at nowhere the intensity you or I do. They see at maybe 50% the intensity we do as opposed to parrots who see at 150% the color sensitivity as us and it is argued see into the lower ultraviolet.
soylet green for dogs??????
Mostly overwhelmingly negative feedback. Perhaps there's a reason these are on woot.

My baby ate a Dingo!

smelonas wrote:Are these made in the USA? If they are made in China they have plastic and other harmful crap in them that will hurt your dog. ONLY buy MADE IN USA food and treats for your pets!!
I agree wholeheartedly. I've never found a product made by this brand that was made in the US. It is actually pretty hard to find rawhide treats made in the US but it's worth looking; I refuse to buy my dogs anything that isn't made in the US. The beef basted rawhide strips they sell in bulk at Wegmans are US made, for anyone living near a Wegmans.
I used to buy them whatever, not caring where it was made, because I didn't know better... but then they started getting sick and I did a little research. Let's just say quality control can be lacking. It's too bad bc this is a good deal!

Dingo treats are made of dogs!!!!!
Sugar makes your dog diabetic. Read the ingredients. Stick with real raw femur beef bones from your butcher with nutritional marrow in them. Best treat for the yard, while you sit and ponder just how much you love your dog and know that you're doing what you can to keep him/her healthy. oh yeah,Dogs love these Dingos like kids love candy. They don't know that it's bad for them... just say NO!
Country of origin? I don't want chews made from what's left of Chinese political prisoners after all the good organs are sold to rich people for transplants.
Unless it's reconstituted rawhide (which these things aren't) don't use them. Had a hunk of rawhide get stuck in my dog's digestive tract......not good. Almost required surgery.
