My dimensions were listed as 11.2 cubed, however I'm sure it wasn't.

I'm pretty happy with the score. Plus I just heard that the McRib is back. Woot!

Careful with the McRibs, had one today and where the sauce dripped , it hit my pants burned a hole clear through !
But so gooood. Glad they dont last long in my area, I'd run outa pants !

Add me to the list of 1lb placeholders with no evidence of a physical package in the Fedex tracking system, waiting impatiently for some kind of sign showing status/package movement/natural disaster/warehouse staff strike/etc.

Finally updated! It took 6 days to get from Carrollton to Dallas. 3.5 pounder on the way, 16.0x12.2x10.6 - delivery scheduled for Halloween day!

What's up with the voice distortion?

Disappointed that my box shed 3 lbs. Expected on Thursday, won't be able to open until Friday. Bleh.

Mine is still the same weight. 3.0 lbs. When does it get reweighed? When it arrives or departs the next place?

I just now FINALLY got my details. The box just arrived at the Dallas FedEx with the following details: 18in x 14.6in x 14.2in weighing in at a whopping 7.3 lbs (my largest yet).

Unfortunately estimated arrival isn't until Oct 31. Hopefully it took this long to make it out of the warehouse because it's extra special.

Fnord.

Totally agree. Creepiest ever...can I have 1:44 of my life back?

Sadly, my bag is only 1.8lbs, and not due to arrive until Oct. 31st! Hoping for some extra-special Halloween crap, but not optimistic with the small weight. This will be my 4th Box of Cobwebs though, maybe I'm due for something good!

Uhm, guys... just a thought but this may be one of those questions that you don't ask. Right up there with asking a woman you don't know when her baby is due only to find out she's just a big plump.

Please be sensitive to the possibility that it wasn't an electronic manipulation.

In retrospect, you are correct. FYI, even if you did have ThunderThighs, I would never comment on it. Not to you or even snidely to someone near me. And I hope everyone here knows about the baby thing.

In the end, it does seem like a harmless event. The OP claims it 'just came out that way' after uploading to YouTube.

And, I would assume if the OP had an issue with his voice, he would have done a different kind of video. Without his voice, using text overlays instead.

Not really liking the kids theme that they had this time around. I don't know anyone who can use it - I guess I'll make some random girl's christmas.

My BOC has only just arrived at the FedEx location in Dallas.

Measurements:

24,1 lbs / 11 kgs
16.8 inch cube (calculated I guess)

Due on 10/28.

This will be the first large one of the nine that I've purchased.

Probably 2007 calendars or something.

tke800 wrote:I saw a youtube video where a guy got a gun in his Box of Cobwebs.. it was a .22 rifle (made to look like an assault rifle)... does Woot! sell firearms?

That would be a violation of federal firearms law. Transfer of a firearm to a nonlicensee with delivery by mail, common carrier or contract carrier is only legal in state (I didn't even think that was legal). It is illegal to transfer a firearm to a nonlicensee residing in another state (this implies in person, which doesn't seem right and probably actually means shipped). Antique (firearms before 1899) and replicas are exempted, as are air guns.

(A licensee as used above is a holder of a Federal Firearms License (FFL) allowing one to engage in the business of selling firearms. It is undefined as to the number of transactions an individual may make in the year before the BATF considers you to be "in the business". A frequent attender of gun shows who turns over a large collection could run afoul of the law without knowing it.)

The FAQ references "ATF 'Federal Firearms Regulations Reference Guide' (ATF P 5300.4)".
