2x Red Breo Watches 20cm (both working yay!)
1X Grow your own Hummingbird Garden Kit
1X Cheeky Pink USB Mirror
1X Barbie Baywatch Back Pack
1x Section 8 Elvis Presley in ear buds (Pink!)

Just the earbuds alone were worth the price of admission this time, I've been looking for my in ear buds for days so I can listen to some tunes during acupuncture, but have had to sit in silence. Now I can rock out and get my mind off the crapton of needles in me. Thanks woot! You must have known I needed them.

When the box arrived it was very light, but the crap isn't that bad;

1x Recycled lunch tote
2x Blue Breo Watches (which are too big for me and too small for my BF)
2x Star Wars Lego Watches
1x USB lighted mirror

FINALLY GOT A Bucket of Candycorn ON 9/22/10!

sracer2003 wrote:I believe that the totes are not being counted as "crap", since it seems they replaced the brown paper sack that is normally the proverbial "bag" wherein the "crap" is contained. The Breo watches, from what I've been understanding were a 2-for Tuesday item, meaning two of them count as one crap, four as two, and so on. This last point, however, it seems is the subject of debate. Some are of the opinion that for an item to count as a crap, it must be unique from all the other craps in your bag.

Personally, any crap I get, regardless of quantity, shall make me happy. (Provided it ever gets here!)

I've gotten several Box of Cobwebs#39;s and only recently have they all included a bag of some sort. My first one was full of calendars, the second was real crap, polo shirts and flashlights and things, the most recent one had the bag of crabs and this one had the tote bag.

Why are people suddenly second guessing what they got?

You get what you got people, if you start to complain they'll stop doing it all together.

Pretty much what everyone else got, minus any "wow factor" craps:

9 bags of air, 3 deflated, maybe 4. Box was USPS crushed.

I did not get one this time around, but came back to see what you all got.

I notice a lot of kid "stuff" and some people lamenting they don't have kids.

We have separated all the kid stuff into a box and collecting all these kid toys to give them next month to "TOYS FOR TOTS" - so please, instead of donating them to the landfill, donate them to the Marines-

Far too many parents are unemployed through no fault of their own. At least let the kids have something for the holidays.

Thank you.

Intercepted my Box of Cobwebs (13.7lbs 24x12.6x12.2) on my way to work from the mailman stowing it away in the package room. When I opened it up, I was pleasantly surprised:

1x Soup-a-Chef Electric Soup Maker
2x Breo skin watches
1x Animal lab kit
1x USB lighted mirror
1x Blue fabric tote
1x Lycosa(?) gaming keyboard (refurb)

Suh~weet!!
Thanks again Woot! Probably the best crap I've gotten so far.

I have 18 or so baggies and there are two characteristics that they all share: 1) they all contained crap and 2) they all contained bags. Now, sometimes you have to look closely to find the bag, but it will be there. One time, for example, it included a shaving kit bag. Some of the bags in recent crapfests were little strawberries that opened to bags. If you received no bag, I think you need to contact TPW and let him know.

The other characteristics, is that all the crap is crap but I always find a use for it (sometimes, just as a gift or garage sale item).

From a marketing/web site stickiness perspective, Woot has a good thing going with the carp baggies; complain all you want they won't end a good thing...

quantumparticle wrote:I think I might win the most random crap award for this one...

The box originally checked in at 4.8 lbs, then right before it was delivered shrunk down to 2.6 lbs.

7 bags of Texas air
1 USB Lighted Mirror
2 Breo Skin Watches (yellow)
3 loose (and used) Golf Balls, complete with stains
1 Orange & Pink Flower bag

And finally...

1 Sony DVDirect Express VRDP1 Multi-Function DVD Writer for Sony Handycam Camcorders with USB interface (Refurbished)

I have no use for the Sony DVDirect DVD Writer thing, if anyone has a Handycam and would like to offer something in trade, I'm all ears.

The watches are perfect timing, as my watch broke this weekend.

All told, it's nice to see the ol Bucket of Candycorn return to it's former crappy glory this time around, somewhat.

I might beat you, I got:
(Same as you):
7 bags of Texas air
1 USB Lighted Mirror
2 Breo Skin Watches (yellow)
3 loose (and used) Golf Balls, complete with stains
1 Orange & Pink Flower bag

Then:
1 Woot "?" tote
1 Foot flush: you literal push a pedal and flush the toilet with your foot.

Last Box of Cobwebs I got a Non-touch toilet cleaner... I think Woot is trying to tell me something

1x breo watch - blue
1x breo watch - purple
1x flowery tote bag

After the USPS stated that my package was damaged and would not be delivered, they ended up delivering it yesterday anyway. (Inside were 2 green watches, 1 animal experiment kit, a cute little bag, a usb mirror, a size men's small white polo shirt w/red collar, and lots & lots of Texas Air, which seemed to have kept the attempted thieves from snagging anything out of the opening they'd cut in the top of the box. Hooray for Texas Air!)

I emailed woot yesterday evening to let them know they didn't need to send a replacement.

I'm posting here, too, because even though most businesses have a 24 hr or turnaround time on email responses, Woot was really quick to respond to my initial email; I'm hoping the second one didn't get lost. (I would feel bad about getting more stuff after my first Box of Cobwebs arrived intact.)

I wish Woot/Amazon wasn't so keen on SmartPost. Packages are not at all secure when shipped that way. (When only one company is responsible for a package from start to finish, it seems like it gets to its destitnation undamaged more often.)

Yah! It arrived today!

10x Texas air
2x Breo yellow watches
1x USB lighted mirror
1x Baywatch Barbie backpack
1x Animals beginners experiment kit

And buried underneath all of that... not a letter, but something that comes pretty close:

1x "The Binge" shopping bag.

I'm in love. Thank you for making my next Wegmans trip one that other shoppers won't forget!

It was waiting for me when I got home!

0x Texas air
2x Breo watch
1x USB mirror
1x Barbie Backpack
1x Woot tote
1x Spectrum Digital Keyboard (slightly damaged with missing parts...but working!)

The box was damaged when it arrived because it was all shipped in the keyboard box with NO padding of any kind.

The Woot Tote alone is worth $8, so I'm super happy!

Uh oh.....looks like ma bukket of candycorn may be lost.

The tracking information has it getting into NYC yesterday early morning and out for delivery late morning. Usually, my Woot purchases are delivered the day they are "out for delivery" but, I got nuttin.

Today, the USPS tracker says that "delivery status not updated" as of 12:30 am. I just got off the phone with a supervisor at the local Post Office who unsuccessfully looked for the package. She said that the carriers all went home for the day, so she won't be able to speak with my carrier until the morning.

Hopefully my cr@p did not decide to run down to Occupy Wall Street (or, more likely, get stolen off of the mail guy's cart)

Still keeping my fingers crossed....

Mine also looked like it may have been opened, but everything was there and it looked brand new. I tried it out and it worked great, the speaker gets pretty loud.

To sync it, you need to hold the bottom button on the speaker until it flashes rapidly (it will begin to flash blue after about 5 seconds, then flash rapidly after about 10)

Then you need to do the same thing on the little light (which is also a button) on the receiver (making sure it is rapid flashing.)

So it seems the speakers I got and the 4 breo watches I got would count as 3 craps. I gotcha.

I've only gotten two Box of Cobwebs and my coworker swears I have all the luck (he got the standard Barbie backpack/footflush crap for this one). I've gotten a "wow" crap each time. First was a GPS, and this time it was the E-Reader. Has anyone else a reader? I had a devil of a time getting it set up, but it seems to work now. Still tempted to resell on Amazon...

LOL, aww I wish I'd checked back on this thread a little earlier before buying a wall adapter cord for it. Next time I will use that site. Thanks for the link.

Went today and picked mine up....
2 Green Breo skin watched 20cm
1 Usb lighted mirror
1 Little labs animals
1 Baywatch barbie backpack
1 Royal fridge photo frame
Not nearly enough texas air *sigh*

The Fridge Photo frame is already in the box to be recycled, wooted them previously and 4 outta 6 not working right didn't seem to be a fluke. So I am guessing that qualifies as the crap potion of my bag.

My boss stared at me being happy with a box of junk and I pointed out that the other employees might decide to do christmas gift exchange this year... and now I was ready... the look of horror on his face said it all

Besides in the end one needs to remember you ordered and paid for a Bucket of Candycorn... you expected something different? :D

jhoff80

quality posts: 6 Private Messages jhoff80

Total junk here, but that's pretty much what I expected.

2 Yellow Breo Skin watches
1 Recycled tote bag from "Gwen's Nest"
1 Small Shirt, something blue with stars on it
1 set of "2.5 Inch Train Track Risers - Box of 12" = Wooden Toy Train pieces
1 "Buzztime Trivia Sports" game.

I'll probably give the bag away, throw the shirt in some Salvation Army thing, and the wooden train pieces are going directly in the trash. I mean, I can't even give it to Toys for Tots or anything, because it's literally just the square riser pieces.

Still, it's always fun to get a Box of Cobwebs and be surprised by what you get.

Well my 14 pound Box of Cobwebs came yesterday, my first ever in over two years of trying! Contents as follows:

A broken stand to some unknown TV/computer monitor
Razor Lycosa keyboard with missing/broken pop up feet
Breo skin watches 3 yellow and 1 white
Gigantic sky cruising paper planes book (gigantic paper included)
Baywatch barbie backpack
2 usb lighted mirrors
Animal planet cheetah and cub plush

All in all it was an awesome first time. Wish the keyboard wasn't missing the pop up feet though, I don't prefer keyboards that lay flat. But holy crap I got an expensive gaming keyboard! Anyone else get one of these with missing feet?

So this is my first bag of awesome crap, which weighed in at just 2.4lbs. It arrived one day late so I was a little sad yesterday, but nonetheless, I was still privileged with the following crap:

1x Gwen's Nest flower bag (to hold my crap)
1x Light Minder expansion receiver
1x Plastic tennis racket
1x Plastic golf club
2x Breo watch (white)
1x USB lighted mirror
1x Motorola Charge Block

The racket and club are in 2 parts each, and have Wii controller parts. Hmmm. What will I ever do with this crap.
