I've had pretty good luck with getting things fixed in my apartment. Speedy, too.

I put in our dishwasher last spring. Other than it being a tight fit, and I had to customize the pipes for the extra distance to the water hookups, it was easy. I'm sure hubby will do fine.

We have to be in Asheville at 8am tomorrow to pick up stuff for the Eastern Star.

Took the VW to Wally World to have the oil changed. They checked to see if they had the oil filter before they started. Drained the oil and uh oh, didn't have a filter. Filled it back up with fresh oil and didn't charge me. They even went to a parts store looking for a filter. We are going to have to order one. No wonder the previous owner changed his own oil. The lube guy was so wigged out about it that he didn't charge me for the windshield wipers he had put on.

edit: Cataract surgery 12/8.

Bread rising, it's late getting started, but it'll be fresh for tomorrow. going to turn some into diner rolls.

Trying to decide if I should work on the walls, or relax for the evening, don't feel like working on work stuff.

Funeral today was really nice, btw. Sat with my parents and aunts and uncles. They opted to drive home early instead of going to the graveside or I would have gone to that as well.

I just loaded this, and Ver1 looked over my shoulder and said, "why are those so funny? They look like chairs."
So I told her they are supposed to be turkeys, and she said, "Then why do they look like chairs?"

Too bad we can't make them (milk), or we could have turkey chair cookies

Dad has to work tomorrow night and it's a 6 hour drive home. At least we got to see them They even babysit for 40 mins this morning so we could go to Ver3's parent-teacher conference.
