got snow yesterday

3-4" of it actually stuck

big red dog has made life interesting over past 36 hours - trip to emergency clinic Wed night and then had him at work all day yesterday...almost had myself an emergency trip to Cornell today but holding off on that cuz he has improved (still going on Nov 7 for his consult tho).

I think so. Even better is Dasuquin. I know human docs tend to downplay glucosamine supplements - there are some small studies that say it is all a 'placebo effect'. But animals either respond or they don't - and I have seen it help a lot of critters.

the Cosequin family of products are the gold standard for glucosamine products...they allow their products to be tested and they deliver what they promise - the bio-availability of the ingredients is as labelled. Not the case with many others.

so are they sure M had a seizure? did they do any bloodwork to check for abnormalities?

and you might wanna jot down anything that was different the day she might have had that seizure....diff food, treat, stimulus, etc. Keeping a seizure diary can sometimes pinpoint a cause and effect. there is some theory that seizures can be precipitated by an allergy - food or environmental. My first setter used to have one seizure in May of every year - started when he was about 3. Possibly an environmental allergy precipitated it. And - altho not allergy-related - there was a lady who had a cat that seizured at random times - or so she thought - until she started jotting things down and the common denominator was her using a certain pan and certain spoon on the stove - evidently the stirring created some sound/frequency/? that caused the cat to seizure. Once she figured it out she tested her theory and bam.....kitty seizure!

I love to shovel snow

I love to get the roof rake out and pull the snow off the roof

I especially love it when we get so much overnight that I can't open the outside door in the morning

It's really great to have to drop the Jeep into 4-wheel drive lo just to get outta the driveway

But I especially love those 2 hour commutes home from work in a blizzard

gosh how I wish it was February and we had 4 feet of snow and temps in the -20's

Lynn it is raining in NC! No snow for us. I have seen snow flurries on Halloween a couple of times but not often. You would like it here.

Came home to cook supper. Going back to the nursing home for a little while. Had to charge up my Kindle and my phone. I think I've read 4 or 5 books while sitting in my Mom's room.
