Good morning everybody! Cataract surgery went well. The only complaint I had was the tape on the shield I wore right after the surgery and will wear at night for a week. It is amazing that the surgery can be done with no pain. I have some swelling so it will take awhile before my vision stabilizes.

Guess my opthamologist didn't feel it necessary to explain that to me. But all the folks I've spoken with experienced the same thing. Perhaps colors seem more vivid simply because the world had looked so foggy prior to surgery.

I haven't noticed a change in colors but my vision is still improving.

My robotic bugs just arrived. I wish I'd gotten another set, need one more for a nephew. Woot's were 4 for 4.99. Amazon, they're on sale for 6.88 EACH.

He's still working, putting the third coat of mud on the wallboard. Plans on coming tomorrow to do the sanding. That's most of the mess. We can put up the tree then except that there's a 3x6 foot table in the the living room and an 8 foot buffet. We put the tree where there's a large recliner. This is going to be difficult, if not impossible. Also, whatever it is that goes under the tile on the floor is on.
