Joyner, I did get enough of the script written to get the necessary files to the other programmer by 5 tonight. She spends all day tomorrow flying back to Cornell, so I get a day or two of lower priority (plus I've maxed my hours for the rest of the year (pretty close to anyway).

Now I just hope this cold that's been threatening is too weakened to take over.

Christmas cookies made yesterday. Nephew cut out about 4 and was done with that part of the process. He decorated 5 cookies and declared his creativity was done. He could not decorate any more cookies unless his creativity came back. He then went back to ESPN and you tube. LOL

luckily niece was here and we got them all finished.

Had fun yesterday, goofed off and shopped. Bought all the Mission Impossibles and then watched them last night, went to the 4th one this morning. Not bad.

Treadmill made it up the stairs, but was a big enough PITA that SO is not talking to me now.

Well, that was an ugly 24 hours. Spent most of the night throwing up, then the rest of the day emptying the southern half, and sleeping a lot. Starting to feel somewhat normal.

Physio peeps say he neeeds another 2 months. His insurance runs out tuesday. They don't really have any money and aren't on medicaid. We can help but he's not going to be happy about any of it.

He applied for supplimental medicare but can't qualify until he has been out of a care facility for 3 months.
Medicaid requires that you have no assets for 3 months before you apply. Everything they have (which is not that much) has to be given away or sold.

He is retired from retail and that company screwed all the retirees out of their health insurance some years ago so he has no secondary insurance.

Yup. It sucks. This place is inexpensive yet will cost about $6500 a month.
