And home! Came a day early since they're supposed to have between 9 and 19 inches from tonight till Tues. morning. I wouldn't have got out of there until Thurs.

Lousy driving today. Really, really windy and rain, the kind that makes you switch the setting on your wipers constantly. I'm beat.

Just ordered a salad. Later.

Oh, yeah. 15 minutes after we got there Fri. the food started rolling in. Cookies, pies, cakes, tray upon tray of lasagna and rigatoni, ox roast, casseroles, muffins, breads, pizzas. And it went on through Tues. One of the best things was someone made sandwiches (buns, meat, cheese, lettuce), wrapped them and sent them. They were devoured immediately since most of the other stuff was dinner-type food. Add to that that they hadn't been to a restaurant to eat since Sept. because he wasn't able to go, so that was done several times and I was really over the top. I think I gained 10 pounds.

Just had a nice nap and feel somewhat better.
