I like the shape because I can switch between my left and right hands easily - contoured mice are terrible for left handed people generally.

Can anyone confirm the colors? On my screen the "blue" looks almost purple and the one they call "pink" looks red. So are we talking purple and pink or blue and red?

Yeah, no. Surfaces, it said. Surfaces imply something flat and solid. I have a plastic desk - most optical mice can't track on it. Gaming and Blutrack ones can. Same for glass.

I have owned two left handed mice (using one now, in fact). Love them, especially when it drives my right handed friends nuts when they try to "drive" my computer.

First let me say; although I used to be a tech and even trained many PC and LAN/WAN technicians in the last 30 years. I've been out of the game for so long that I readily admit my technological status today is almost "newbie" class. That being said, please don't blast me too harshly when I ask this question:

What are the chances of three of these interfering with each other if I use them all in the same room? Anybody know anything about the technology with which these communicate?

Bought three mouses. Two for home use and one for gift.

This is my first wireless mouse. I am not a big fan with wireless mouse/keyboard because it occupies one of my USB ports. Sooooo... I will see if it will work with an extended USB hub when I get it. It should work, right? No reason not. hmmm...

Forgot to add that I am buying this new mouse to replace my 10 years old Logitech wired mouse (M-BA47). It still work great, but its appearance has already worn out -- some what.

I'm in for six (two separate accounts) Nice to have them around the house and some for small gifts. Love the size. I have too many wires all over and one less is just great. 2 Red, one for gift and other for Red Gateway notebook, 1 white for 12" G4 iBook, City for 12" alum G4 Powerbook, Blue for gift. Wish there was a pink one for Pink Vaio.

I use about 5 of these at a time in my home.

They all have different frequencies, so you don't need to worry about cross-talk!

Yeah, I use left and right for mouse/trackball. The non contoured is a real plus and when a lefty friend uses notebook/computer mouse can be adapted, quickly, if they are lefty mouse users.

Beware that these have a problem with the dongle overheating, I know of one person who actually burned their fingers trying to pull it out.

I have several of these Mouse's and they ROCK. they are the perfect size to throw in the lappy bag or to use with your desktop. and the Dongle is small enough not to be obtrusive. I LOVE mine. and My wirless keyboards too .

The Battery Life , is Long on these too. I leave mine on all the time and the batteries (use Good ones ) and they lasts ,even with rechargables one for two to three months at least.

I happen to have the 3000, but rarely use it because it's too small. I like my hand to rest ON the mouse, not beneath it. I wind up using a larger wireless desktop mouse instead.

Already have two of these but at this price I'm in for three more. These are great with our Woot MSi laptops.

Ive got two desktops and a Lappy all in the same room running these mice and Ive never had no probs. with them interfering with each other as , they are all on differ radio frequentcies . I just love these mice

I'm planning on using this for the same as mentioned by someone else. I have my laptop hooked up to my tv to watch shows and movies. having this wireless mouse while kicking back in bed and being able to use the forehead of my passed out wife for my table to navigate with should work just fine.

Best portable mouse I've ever owned. Dongle attaches to the bottom via magnetism. Haptic feedback in touch-scroller makes it feel like a scroll wheel. Can disable it if you want. Folding it flat turns it off, curling it turns it on.

Sure, costs more than $10, but... It's awesome!

I have one of these (in graphite grey).
Paid about $30 last year sometime.
nano receiver fits in bottom, has on/off switch, battery lasts a long time.
fits well in the hand.

only complaint is the mousewheel is a little hard to press compared to my ancient logictech.

New logictechs (like the m500 series) have hard to click wheels too though.

I have that exact mouse (Arc Touch). I hate it. It's the most uncomfortable mouse I've ever owned.

Make sure you buy two. Because these are great to use for pranking your co-workers. Simply plug the dongle into their PC and then randomly move the cursor around the screen while they are using it.

If you don't do it too often and you resist the urge to laugh out loud this can go on for weeks.

On a side note you should also beware of fellow wooting co-workers and check your spare usb ports for extra dongles.

In bed, I use one with my laptop along side me on the sheets, or on my chest... hair and all!

I bought the blue one during last year's Black Friday sale at An-Office-Store-That-Starts-With-S, and this is an even better deal! I'm in for 3 as these make great backup mice and laptop mice, and I will be getting my little sister a laptop for her graduation this spring. Thanks Woot!!

I would have loved to buy these but the reviews on Amazon literally scare me out of it. There are 265 reviews with a 4 star average so I thought maybe people were exaggerating... But when you read the reviews HALF are one-star reviews with serious danger of the receiver overheating/melting/burning you. This looks downright dangerous. I thought- maybe it was only the early models (first review was Dec 2009) - but no, even recent reviews show the same problems. How Amazon calculates 4 stars I don't know- my guess is when someone edits a review they aren't re-averaging. Everyone seemed happy for the day or two so maybe they gave it a great review at first and then changed it later.

Shame, I could have used some good mice- but not going to risk burning electronics which could fry my whole laptop. This has to be the reason Woot can get these so cheap.
