According to Wikipedia "Pc Card was superseded by ExpressCard in 2003." How do these still exist?

Can we please tone down the nasty comments on this item? There are a few people that have actually purchased it (someone took 3!), and I'd hate to hear they tossed themselves over a bridge after thinking they got a great deal and THEN they read the comments out here.

Nothing is worse than thinking you got a great deal and instead wound up with a bag o' crap product (without the bag!). Makes you feel all sorts of stupid.

Not to be rude to anyone who is from Oregon or Oklahoma... But I feel I need to clarify this.. If you buy this, that doesn't mean you have free internet for the rest of your life.

I picked one like this awhile back for my IBM T43 laptop.

I used to do some hotel wi-fi networking gigs... I needed a wi-fi card that I can use with Netstumbler and get an accurate read on signal strength and other factors.

Most, if not all, built-in cards are not as open. Most add-ons aren't either....
