Click the leaderboard link on deals.woot. It'll tell you what you have to do to get your rep up. Apparently I need to start tattling on expired deals more, but I've never been much of a tattler.

I check WOOT probably 4 days out of 5 year round. I checked Monday, but didn't check yesterday & just came here to check for today about 5 minutes ago. Of course, not long after the Bountiful Overflowing Cornucopia finishes. Figures. (grumble grumble grumble....)

Honestly they are 99% crap. My last one I won't even use any of it. I got a crappy little reusable bag (can't even use for grocery shopping), two cheap plastic wrist watches, a animal science kit for 4-5 year old (don't have kids), and a men's ugly orange 2XL polo shirt (Way too big for my husband or I).

I saw some folks wondering about preferential treatment regarding the highly coveted and always crap-filled Bountiful Overflowing Cornucopia. I just checked my account, and this is my 8th time scoring one over the last four years. My last one was two woot-offs ago, where I got some kid stuff.

I've never used bots, never used any backdoor routes, and I've missed out on plenty of Bountiful Overflowing Cornucopia. And I'm in Oregon, so there's no geographical advantage there.

I think we can chalk this one up to better servers. Last time I got one, it took about an hour of trying. This time, I soared right through.

I don't think Woot has ever played favorites on this (I don't even see how they can), despite the many conspiracy theories which always abound when folks don't score.

I think that to most of us, it doesn't matter what we get, it's just that we managed to do the seemingly impossible.

I know that I have tried to get one every woot-off for about 2 years now, and I never got lucky until today.

I generally get rid of clutter and useless stuff, so I'm not the kind of person to buy a Big ol' Cornucopia just to own some crap, but for me, it is the thought of victory, the thought of being able to beat the odds and "win" the Big ol' Cornucopia. I don't expect to get a TV or anything major like that. I probably won't even keep the crap I get, but the important thing isn't what's in the Big ol' Cornucopia, it's the Big ol' Cornucopia itself.
