I love the Bountiful Overflowing Cornucopia.. I really do. Ive gotten several over the past year, but this one was the worst ever. Not to complain, Ive gotten some good Bountiful Overflowing Cornucopia#39;s before, but this one was pitiful. I love checking the discussion boards too, for everyone else's crap fun after I get my own... But there wasn't anything exciting. Bah.

Soo. Bountiful Overflowing Cornucopia arrived @ my parents house today (mail/fedex is unreliable at my apt.) and I'm going on photos only, but my package contained a baywatch Barbie backpack, a screaming Woot monkey w/ black cape, a procrastination spitball target, USB guard dog and....

A fleshy colored thing that has 3 knobs and takes batteries.

Anyone else get one of these? Looks like a "personal massager" to me, but I've only seen pictures taken by my dad (how embarrassing!)

going to be a few more days before you guys hear about 'the letter'. My Bountiful Overflowing Cornucopia was scanned today at the same facility it left 4 days ago, and my estimated delivery date was pushed back 4 days because of this scan! (called fed-ex, representative claimed they don't have the package and is blaming usps even though their website cleary shows a fed-ex facility making the latest scan) Looks like I won't be getting the letter until the 26th at the earliest, but I'll let you all know when it gets here =)

On the plus side, the computer I ordered during the wootoff arrived today, and the wife is happier than a pig in 5**t!!! tHANKS W00t!

Before anyone asks, according to the the woot! rep that responded to my inquiry... I did receive 3 craps... 2 of the same shirt equals 2 items.

I can now answer with confidence in any future posts by those that receive 1 bag, and 3 items where 2 or more are the same, that they did in fact receive the proper amount of crap. Although it still may be worth a message to the woot! customer service team to see if they are feeling generous.

Well... I'm disappointed. I emailed woot regarding my Big ol' Cornucopia and it turns out that because I used a coupon for $10 off an item and the Beautiful Overflowing Cornucopia was $8, the system thought the order was cancelled out or something. They're shipping it TODAY. Which probably means tomorrow.

The problem?

I was planning on it getting to my home in Florida which I will be going to for Thanksgiving. I'm in Georgia right now; if it doesn't get to Florida by this Saturday I won't be seeing it until December 13th. I'd better be getting some awesome craps, woot!

Yeah, I'm going to echo what a few folks have already stated.

The uniformity and selection of the bags has made the receipt a lot less interesting. I enjoy the hunt, and getting one still gives me a thrill, but the actual bag is sadly, not what it used to be.

I remember when it was crap, not (necessarily) junk. Broken DVRs, and sansas, random toys, lots of strange USB cabling, and odd and ends from devices we could not quite identify... these are things that made the baggies so much fun. Folks could trade, figure out to get things working and find alternate uses for all this 'crap'. Good times.

Of late is been more cheapo, new products that don't have the same punch... just less to be excited or chuckle about. I recognize its hard to put together 2500 individually unique boxes once a month, but it seems like Woot used to try a little harder in this regard.

That being said, I'm still happy I got one, and will continue to try to get more.

Yeah, I would prefer if they were a little less "gift baggy". Throw 4 USB dogs in one, 13 of the monkeys another, someone else gets 8 small shirts. Randomize it just for the fun of it.
