Agree with everything you said. I'm a side sleeper, but I like to switch sides from time to time, which this makes difficult. Although it is kind of useful as a backrest when sitting up in bed watching TV since it is so firm.

I don't know about that. I almost always read some comments before I buy. I don't believe what I read, though.

I'm a side sleeper and I got these recently at the same price. I have fairly wide shoulders, and they work fairly well for me and my neck has way less pain than it used to. My wife tried one and it didn't work well for her- she's fairly petite. In a nutshell, as others have said, they have to 'fit' your body type or they won't work.

Good to know about the cpap. I wondered about that after hitting the ridiculously large gold button.

I have osteo arthritis in my neck so it's almost impossible to get a decent night's sleep. Bought these last round. They arrived just as I was getting ready to take a nap. Figured what the heck, used one for napping. My neck has been hugely better since and I even took one with me in my suitcase last month to travel to a family wedding.

I just ordered 2 more sets, since I left the one I took with me behind somehow..... would imagine they're not perfect for everyone... but my neck is the happiest it's been in years.... so I bought to sock away in case they get discontinued.

What? Why don't you love your tempurpedic? Maybe it is old and needs replacing? Or you are using it wrong?! Those are the best!

If I had a nickel for every time someone ignored a review of mine, I would have a A Day of Thanksgiving (1951) of dimes.

I'm in for a pair. Everyone in my family sleeps on their side, and we all have some form of neck or back pain/stiffness. It's worth a shot.

I got 2 of these the first time around, and 2 more on the last Woot!-Off. The first 2 were really comfortable and we use them every night. The second 2 were overstuffed and hence a bit too firm for the Mrs and me. So the amount of stuffing varies. We will see if we can surgically remove some of the overstuffing, but neither of us are doctors! I hope we don't lose either of our patients, or patience!

Bought these before on woot, they suck. The opening between/in the horseshoe is smaller than my wrist. They are filled with old tire scraps. Finally washed one and it blew apart.

But please buy three x2!

Thank you for saving the child working in Martha Stewart Sweat shop though. No beating tonight

Total waste of money unless you're in a coma and there's no chance you'll ever be able to change position on your own.

Hadn't thought about the snoring -- now that I think about it, I haven't woken myself up as much with my own snoring since using this.... definitely sleeping better.

After pondering it for a few minutes, I decided I like the ones we have enough to order a backup pair to stash away. Someday the originals will wear out and I won't have to search for another. In for one, again.

Well you know what Woot? You need me more than I need you. My last purchase from you was my last purchase from you.

Done.

Funny, many people consider a suspension a badge of honor around here.

On your second point, I must disagree. Woot does not need you at all. Every single item that they post during a woot-off sells out. Without you buying, the items might take an extra second or two to sell out. Boy, you sure showed them!

I stayed up for this?!?

I bought this last time. I have mixed feeling about it. It was comfortable for my head, neck and back. The problems were rolling over, and my arm. I'm used to bending the arm that I am sleeping on. However using this pillow I can't do that because the pillow is just enough too wide. The ear hole is also useless, I have difficulty getting my head high enough to get my ear in it. I'm also not used to having my jaw on my pillow but on this one, it completely supports the head. I keep going back and forth between my pillows.

I really want one of these...but I feel like I'd just get tangled up in it. Or not know how to use it and end up just having a strange shaped regular pillow.

I bought my first one at a big box store, it was lost somewhere in all of my travels. Bought a two pack the last time, and I like them a good deal. At first, it seemed as if the pillow was too "tall" the first night I owned it. Soon after, it becomes perfect, and does not seem to compact down past that point. As far as turning in my sleep, I don't wake up in the middle of the night, and I don't care if the tail part of the pillow is touching my spine. For a side sleeper, it is nice to have a firm pillow with good loft. Yes, the pillow case that it is shipped with is not the best in the world, but I don't mind once my head is on it. A good deal, imho.

If it was witty, I take responsibility. If it was crass, inconsiderate or stupid, the dog wrote it.

bacalum wrote:I previously bought a pair. The button in the ear/head well popped off right away - poorly stitched. Other than that, the pillows are fine. Yes, you do have to switch it when you change sides, but I always awaken anyway when I need to roll over. The pillow is comfortable for me and does a good job of aligning my neck and upper spine. That's the biggie.

Before this pillow: head/neck/shoulder aches; not a good way to start the day.

Using this pillow: Far fewer neck and related aches.

Satisfied.

One of mine arrived with the button popped off right out of the box. Still, worth it.
