Moofi has this same brand and interface only it's gigabit for $5.99. Cheaper and a much more likely upgrade. Honestly who uses a laptop these days that doesn't at least have a 10/100 NIC.

Yeah, actually. We have Lenovo ThinkPads at our college campus, mainly used for print stations, and I've had to plug adapter cards into them because their built-in ethernet ports don't play nice with our system, it seems. So yeah, they're still used. But only reluctantly.

Buy it now, or you'll get a Bag O' Crap with 3 of them later.
