I'm sure woots is superior, but the one newegg has is more in my price range.I'm also not a gamer, but I'd like something with Blu-ray, USB 3.0, and a decent sized HD that I can also use as a HTPC connected to my flat screen. Any input from those in the know would be much appreciated.
There's also this HP on newegg that looks tempting and comes with a blu ray player and same resolution?

the first laptop, the samsung w01 is comparable but skimps on the discrete graphics, the cpu and the hard drive ... you can upgrade the hd, but not the other two ... for my money, depending on what u need the comp for, id get the woot one ... it's cpu an graphics will stay "current" longer...
the hp is a whole other animal ... good deal, but the processor is a bigger step down, so is the hard drive, but u do get a discrete graphics, but its less powerful than the woot ... not a bad bargain budget laptop, but in a total different neighborhood ... to me the 200 dollar difference is worth it to "future proof" the laptop ... the woot will give you more for a longer time than the hp...
my 2 cents
