How longer does it take after placing an order for the item to ship? Where does it usually ship from? and by UPS or FedEx?

After you place your order it typically takes less than 5 days to ship out but can take longer. They ship from TX.

Chances are good that you will receive the laptop before Christmas :D

SquareTrade was less than useless for me. I bought it for a GPS, about 10 months into the 1 year warranty the GPS died. Sent it in, they agreed it was dead, gave me a prorated warranty claim of like $5 on a $200 unit....and kept the unit. For the 5 bucks I would rather have just kept it and tinkered with it

Takes a while....and pony express. No seriously this is only my second woot purchase, first one took about two weeks to ship and it came ground, can't remember if it was ups or fedex though....

Solid buy, i can't wait for it to arrive! when will that happen typically 5 business days after ordering or 2 business days?

I was having the a similar problem. My husbands bank account is the default account, I wanted it to come out of my bank account with the debit card I have on file with Paypal.There was no way to change the default payment. Luckily I noticed it before it was too late. I just backed out and used the credit card option to use my debit card.I don't think you can change it once the purchase is complete.
Very frustrating!

Actually Customer Service @Woot has been great! I was able to make the payment change, same day and get it reversed from my bank account too. I even got a phone call today to see if everything was going smoothly. The clue is to look at the Billing Agreement at Paypal for Woot for that days date and change the default before hitting the "buy" button. However the Woot system cannot accept PayPal smart connect as default, has to be a card or bank account.

boo mine isnt working for me. i entered order number into the ref box and country and my zip code. is there something i'm supposed to do with the ship date? or maybe it's just not entered yet?

Awesome, just checked again and it's on a truck on the way from Anaheim. Will be delivered to my house in Vegas tomorrow.

Is there a direct link for the squaretrade warranty for THIS computer? I saw one yesterday on the bottom of the home woot page but I can't find a quick link now that there's a new woot. I also tried logging on to the squaretrade site with my woot ID as it suggested but it says I'm not a member. Any help would be appreciated!

Payments are instead they have your money and you have nothing! No reason for the delay! NONE! Should be sent out next day! In fast I ordered from woot back in 2009 before the amazon take over and I had it the next day! and it was free shipping and handling on that! so AMAZON get your head out of your ass!

Whoa, you need to take a chill pill, or 7. Immediately after purchase it lets you know that they may not even ship until 5 days after purchase, sometimes longer. If your item gets shipped SMARTpost then you could be looking at another 2 weeks.

I think you are confused. I have been wooting for almost 4 years and there has never been free shipping without a coupon code. Anytime I buy something from Amazon however I do get free shipping 99% of the time.
